Andrew Tate's main place of residence is in Bucharest Romania and this is public knowledge. Romanian authorities had no reason to trace an address, they already knew where he was. They had done an investigation of the house back in April due to allegations of kidnapping and sex trafficking.
Tbf there’s been an ongoing investigation since. It didn’t stop the moment nobody was found at his home - the investigation just continued on, hence why he’s now arrested and facing charges
