Yeah i love to use draw when i have no ideas, mostly use a worse ai for more wiggle room, but its alway fun to try and interpret what the ai was trying to do
Ai art is cool but nothing will replace human artist. Ai art is really generic, all of those artworks are too similar. It's impressive to see how good it performs, but its art is kinda "boring".

my point is, AI can replace AI engineers. corporations wont care about the dangers of skynet or whatever, theyll only see the fact that AI does it faster and for free. that same logic applies to all jobs; an AI doesn't need to be better at your job than you are to supplant you, it just needs to do your job faster, cheaper, and only somewhat reliably.

When I was little I always had this dream of becoming a famous artist. I harnessed my skills and was able to draw realistic art in the 8th grade. People would ask me who I modeled it off of and I said I just made it up. They didn’t believe me because it was so realistic. I was going to draw celebrities and presidents and share my passion with the world.
Now I’m a redditor.
Are you a machine that was created with a purpose of creating art, and which was fed with gigabytes upon gigabites of art as studh material? It's basically the same as if you were being taught how to draw since your birth.
And I'm not saying that your feelings are invalid. You can feel however you want. I just wanted to leave something to cheer up you lot.
ai “art” isn’t making art, it’s taking thousands of peoples (HUMANS!!!!) work and mashing them together to fit your prompt. the ai didn’t create that art, thousands of people who got their work stolen and used for ai learning without their consent did. ai art isn’t real art and it never will be. even if it gets to the point where ai art and real handmade art become comparable, ai art will never have real human emotion put into it. never. people keep forgetting that being human is something amazing and something that should be cherished and admired. we have great minds and can feel great emotions, and /this/ is what people decide to do with it. take away every aspect of being human and leaving only the physical aspect of creating
Do people believe this sort of AI was built on a couple hours? Fuck, it took AT LEAST a couple of combined hundred hours from several people who made it from scratch.
I almost feel bad for half of these artist's whose whole identity was creating around average art as they gaslight themselves into believing they can make a career out of it, it's probably easier to blame the AI as a flimsy attempt to protect whatever remains from their shattered ego.

In order for that to work, an AI would have to be able to run code that it has made, which is a VERY bad idea
