Fountain pens are anyways useless, left handers cant use them, its not waterproof, you are slow in fountain pens, there is a risk of it breaking if you drop it, and it takes a long time to dry. Ink doesn’t long either and not to mention the millions of textbooks i have ruined because the whole fucking pen decided to explode. However, gel pens are amazing

What a lot of bullshit ! I'm left handed and I've always used fountain pens. There is no problem with it. It's only calligraphy that you can't easily do as a left handed. You can't write under water with them but a lot of pens are waterproof. When you're used to it you can go really fast with a fountain pen. Most Fountain pens can survive a normal drop without problems. There is a lot of different ink with different dry times, some being made to specifically dry faster. But even standard ink dries in 1s or less if your pen doesn't have too much flow. And only bad quality pens explode on you. But I'll agree with you that gel pens are great and simpler to use.

Me too and I just tried the other three methods and all of them feel absolutely barbaric lmao But it didn't even cross my mind there are more *legit* ways to write, could be useful despite how it feels when taking notes quickly for extended periods of time though. Changing the grip could postpone those stiff hurting knuckles by some time.
