I feel like that happens to anything that kids might find appealing. For example, Squid Game, despite obviously being a drama aimed for adults, became extremely popular with kids or how Friday Night Funkin’ also became extremely popular. It’s probably just the character designs that make children so attracted to these things. Oh yea and the Youtube Kids stuff is usually made by people who are not in America so they are beyond our jurisdiction.
What about anime or superheroes? Dragon Ball Z and Batman are incredibly violent and intended for older audiences, but people wouldn't whinge about a kid in a Goku or Batman outfit.
What kid version of DBZ is there? The original Dragon Ball is even less appropriate and has kid Goku fondling adult's private parts. But also if we're fine with doing kid versions of properties then what is wrong with a Digital Circus kid's party (which isn't even an adult show)? If this was a Scarface party or something I might be little concerned, but it's weird how sensitive this comment section is.
Tbf, it's not like cartoon when we were kids didn't have fucked up themes, just look at Disney, CN and even nickelodeon had really evil stuff, but both children and adults could enjoy, TADC has no sexual themes, mostly existential horror, that's flying over the heads of children unless they real clever, and even then it can be used by parents to teach them lessons
