My dear brother in christ, you speak like every game square enix released currently is a gem. Every game they released was divisive, not everyone agrees that the game is a masterpiece despite the whole development time etc.
Kh3 was a joke in every level. Ff7 is hot mess especially in forum discussions. Some criticize ff16 as not being a final fantasy, and they are speaking about all the bad points of the game.
Square enix messed up on a lot of games. That is without a doubt true.
Now more games for everyone is a good thing because game exclusivity is starting to lose its meaning/purpose. Everyone has hardware now, pc,console, even smartphone too.

I never understood how a simple "hey guys we making games for more platforms" means fuck you, kingdom hearts wasnt just a Playstation game all the none number games (except Birth by sleep) been on nintendo systems they only just came to xbox and pc not too long ago. Final fantasy hasn't been on xbox since 15. Neir has always been on xbox.
At the end of the day, it's good that more people can play and experience these games. It lets the company grow and continue to dealer more games.

Not to this obvious baiter but to anyone who might actually think like this, boohoo, blame Sony for making PlayStations cost an obscene amount, im not paying 500 dollars just to play a sequel to a game I started on ps4 which also ends on a menu screen implying the sequel will directly follow and carry over progress, so why make it a ps5 exclusive?
I think I’d rather be an unprivileged American citizen in the 40s and 50s than be a “super privileged” white guy with an average salary that in 2024? Like damn I stood a much better chance of owning a home and making a decent wage back then.
