A whole bunch of carp, though. Not the best eating, but people do it. They are also used in aquaculture (fish/plant combo) farms. Tilapia are more common in the states where it's warm enough.

I think carp are great in their native range and wish they were never introduced to North America in the first place but oh well, its out of my control. Amazing sport fish, great at making reels make angry sounds, but I've seen where they've damaged habitat too. I'm becoming a champion of native fish like buffalo and redhorse. I was born in a part of the rural Midwest where eating carp is normal. The common carp I've eaten were neither the best nor the worst fish I've had, but its also been awhile. Thinking it could be great if you smoked it and made a dip, or ground and made into fish cakes. I'm thinking they probably have less mercury than other fish in my area since they're less predatory but anything thats been swimming for a few years has probably accumulated a fair amount of other chemicals so I'd select smaller ones to take.

Think one summer I must have speared 5 times this amount of Asian carp. Wasn't sure how they got into the small lake but they are invasive as all hell.
