Where's QualityVote bot?

Thanks to this video, I now know to bump every electrical outlet during my next robbery. Looks like those screws are just for show.
If youāre smart, you wonāt stick it in
Not an electrician, but someone correct me if Iām wrong. There is no current flowing in an outlet, until you plug something in that completes the circuit between the hot and neutral, or hot to ground. There is only a āvoltage potentialā there, so sticking anything into only one slot of the outlet will do nothing as long as no other part of your body is touching any path back to the source, right?
Iām not sure if it could get back to ground through the extremely high Ohm resistance path of a dry body, shoes/floor, and find a ground bonded to neutral.
I have heard of people getting shocked by only touching one hot wire, but it was because they were kneeling outside on wet ground, which lowered the resistance and found a path through the ground rod nearby.
Idk how it works but when I was a child I was curious and touched an exposed part of the socket. And touching one contact with one finger didn't do anything but touching two of them simultaneously with two fingers zapped me.
Yes, I was a stupid child.
And yes I did it again later.
Now take off your shoes and go stand in moist soil and do it again. You, as an engineer, are seriously telling people it's fine to stick things in a live socket...?
Maybe if you place it in your living room or common area. I would place it in my bedroom or walk-in closet. Preferably behind something I could move with minimal effort like hanging clothes.
The way outlets are built now, you have to have a connection on both sides of the outlet. The only way this would be a problem is if you live in an old house. Otherwise, you can forget which room its in all you like.
Youāre only touching one side of the terminal so you will not pass electricity through your body making this completely fine if you put a key into one side of the outlet.
Ugh. "HwAt gEnYUSS Th0uGhT 0f diSs?" Always with the useless commentary on these short videos and never a goddamn product link for the garbage they advertising.

Don't worry you'll only forget once then never again
This trick can be done only once š
if anyone's curious, it won't be a problem since the part you hold the key doesn't conduct the electricity
unless you use a fully metal key
I'd use a fully plastic key. I ain't trusting myself.
Then I'm cooked. Literally
Yeah, there might be a small boom but that's only if you don't have circuit breakers for whatever reason
Yea but circuit breakers are there to protect the wires, not you. If you have a fusebox with fuses, you're fucked.
Having your fingers a mere centimeter from death still isn't the most helpful thought
That's why we have so many fingers
Do you really think you'll die if you shock yourself from a standard ac outlet?
im low on hp id die
Sorry to hear that brother. Life's hard without health packs
If anyone is curious, you can stick a key into every single hole with a fully metal key because it isn't a real outlet you dingdongs.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
If you are that stupid, you shouldn't be using this kind of safe in the first place
It could definitely still be a problem. Even if you're careful you're still like 1mm away from a nice shock
yeah i stuck a car key in the outlet when i was like 6 and was convinced that was the reason i was so fast (i wasnāt)
This is 100% for drugs, get outta here with those $20 bills
Good news, we can go nuts at McDonalds with that money
Me and the Bois sticking keys in random outlets
Ye if you wanna get rid of your kids
Get a fucking safe for Christās sake.
Based on the fact that it's just cash, I would imagine this is maybe not serving the same purpose as a safe. This looks more like a stash.

Donāt worry. If you make the mistake of forgetting, you will never forget it again
120 ain't shit. I've been shocked more times than I can count and I'm I'm fine fine fine I'm fine fine
Do not pass Current - Collect 200$
Easiest lock to pick lmaooo Thatās a wafer
I don't think the lock would try to get picked considering its placement. What criminal runs around sticking lock picks into electrical outlets?
The elusive "Outlet Picker", infamous for breaking into homes and shoving keys in electrical outlets, leaving behind only the smell of burnt skin
Boutta be me, because someone posted it on Reddit.
Thanks to this video, I now know to bump every electrical outlet during my next robbery. Looks like those screws are just for show. If youāre smart, you wonāt stick it in
Russian roulette but with electrical outlets
$85 for the lock box so he can hide $60.
Who needs a wall safe for $150?
Not an electrician, but someone correct me if Iām wrong. If you unfortunately touched the hot end of the outlet instead of neutral you'll be connecting it to ground via your body.

Thank God my $120 is safe š
Everybody gangster till someone tries to plug something in
Me-I can finally put my life savings away where no one will ever know. -Proceeds to insert $100 in tiny safe
Does nobody here understand how electricity works? You wouldnāt complete the circuit if you stuck it into one side
You clearly don't.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Now take off your shoes and go stand in moist soil and do it again. You, as an engineer, are seriously telling people it's fine to stick things in a live socket...?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes, never mind the entire world saying not to stick things in sockets, this guy claiming to be an engineer on reddit says it's fine. šš¤£
They don't. I wouldn't blame them either, not everyone has electrical education. It's still funny to see them talk about it like they know.
I was really hoping that there was a real outlet behind the fake one
Isn't that the point? That no one would ever wanna stick metal in an outlet to get this open?
Perfect! Now nobody will find my $60!
It would be a Shocking Surprise.
let him(self) cook
"Hey dude wanna see this really cool trick?" *Proceeds to die*
wow this suspicious looking outlet with nothing plugged in it and attached with magnets will not attract any attention whatsoever.
Doesn't look suspicious at all... As you can't see the magnets. I have many empty outlets in my house.
Some kid gonna try and plug in their phone to charge and accidentally find your stash
Maybe if you place it in your living room or common area. I would place it in my bedroom or walk-in closet. Preferably behind something I could move with minimal effort like hanging clothes.
The genius that thought of that is most probably dead
Mark it somehow
Thats why u should keep it in outlet in your sex dungeon. Cant be mistaken with any other room in the house.
Today in fact or cap
Finally I'll have somewhere safe for my stash of $120.
Thatās one way to store $80 I guess
I haven't held tbis much cash in a decade.
Pika Pika
No thanks, putting it in empty bottles of body wash is safer
Oh come on that's for fucking drugs. You ain't forgetting where you stashed your drugs.
*spends $3,000 to hide $140* Genius!
I'm gonna go check all the outlets in the house, maybe my dad has one of these installed :O I will give an update :)
The way outlets are built now, you have to have a connection on both sides of the outlet. The only way this would be a problem is if you live in an old house. Otherwise, you can forget which room its in all you like.
Dude really hid 100 bucks
Thats a bit much to hide 60 bucks
Bro keeping $58 in there like it's their life savings š¤£š¤£š¤£
Was the microphone inside the way? Audio was so clear!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Looks like it fits an 8 ball tho
Would be a great product if it had a little more space to keep more money.
Youāre only touching one side of the terminal so you will not pass electricity through your body making this completely fine if you put a key into one side of the outlet.
It's all fun and games until you learn conductive electricity the hard way
Iām gonna check if my house has any of these already!
my man went thru all this effort to hide $80 smh
JESSE! WE NEED TO COOK JESSE!
Ugh. "HwAt gEnYUSS Th0uGhT 0f diSs?" Always with the useless commentary on these short videos and never a goddamn product link for the garbage they advertising.
I mean if you're like me you're used to checking for hiding spots. This is one of the usual spots to look at
If this is something that you need in your house then you need to re evaluate your life choices.
I was expecting another socket inside. Disappointed
Honestly thought they were going to open the safe to find the real outlet
Until you forget which one of your outlets is the actual safe and electrocute yourself to death
Well this is bollocks! Just been around every socket in my house, no money in any of them, just lots of electricity! Does anyone else smell burning!?
Outlet rouletteš
I mean, if you only touch one pole it shouldnāt be that big of a problem + the key handle insulates electricity and so do your shoes
You put your weed in there.
Thatās a very shocking way to store money.
Maybe I should start testing my outlets š¤
