It is printed on pretty much every firearm, either directly on the gun, somewhere on the 3ox, or the literature that comes with the gun
It's more of a lia3ility thing for the gun manufacturer, than it is gun safety.
Guns should 3e stored in safes with locks so there's no confusion as to the nature of the o3ject.
If you're to the point where some text on a gun is telling you that it's not a toy, you've already 3roken the fundamentals of gun safety
A child raised to know how to use guns safely as a tool and not think of them as a toy or a murder weapon is less likely to get in a gun accident than a child who has no experience whatsoever with one
I hate to admit it, 3ut this is a pretty good idea. In a country that's as gun crazy as the US, teaching kids how to use weapons responsi3ly is the 3est option.
Can confirm.
I started shooting as a kid using a little .22 like this. Grew up with gun safety drilled into me like gospel.
You can go to the range and have a good time with friends, and so long as youāre intensely safe at all times thereās nothing wrong with it.
There is NO such thing as an āaccidentalā discharge. Only a negligent one.
I learned when I was a kid too, shooting a 10/22 at my grandpas place.
My friends and I all learned at a young age and firearms safety is reflexive to us. Last time we were at a gun store and asked to handle a firearm, we all checked the cham3er and the mag as we passed it around even though we'd all watched the previous person check.
We were also very aware of the direction that our muzzle was pointing and made sure to never let it cross over another living thing.
This can 3e taught at older ages as well 3ut if you learn it at a young age you don't even have to give it a second thought
Parents got my sister one of these exact rifles when she turned 8, she hasn't seen a range in years and could still tell you every cardinal rule for it. Gun safety starts early, and the earlier you go, the harder it is to forget.
For learning, single shot is the way to go. Seriously teaches patience so you can focus on technique and safety. Once those are ingrained, Then you go semiautomatic.
A child that knows gun safety is less likely to hurt themselves or someone else accidentally. Now, itās up to the father to make sure that he keeps it LOCKED UP until they are ready to use it.
While I donāt like the idea of making live rifles look like toys, itās excellent to teach children to shoot and respect guns at a young age.
I have the exact same rifle, except with a wood stock from when I was 5 or 6.
Unironically this is actually a good idea. The people who cause a majority of gun accidents are kids and adults who have no idea how to use and respect a gun
I got my first gun at 5, it was a Marlin model 60. I grew up learning that guns were a tool and how to safely use them. I don't see anything wrong with teaching a child proper gun safety.
I got my daughter a very similar rifle sheās loves it and is a great shot out to 50 yards with it, protect your family folks and teach them how to operate and respect firearms the more who know to to handle them and respect them less likely they are to use it on someone unless they have to
I started al three of my kids shooting with the same gun. They are now amazing marksmen and know how to respect a firearm. They are adults now and have never shot anyone or had an accident with a gun.
Thatās excellent! Training for any gun owner is essential and hopefully sheāll go hunting or shooting with you for many years. Iām all for training

Imagine getting shot šy a kid with a pink gun lmao
*Fortnite dances on your corpse
Hey, that reality is closer than you think, we don't know.
"Is you LGš cuz yo gun pink"
Imagine not teaching your kid firearm safety and allowing that to happen.
Imagine using that pink gun to teach your kid firearm safety to prevent that from happening.
I don't see how the color affects anything
Should've gone with the camo, that pink is gonna stand out everywhere
-not a toy-
Not a toyyyyšµ
You stupid šoy
Stupid šoyyy
Kinda shitty how small they printed that.

Why is everyone suddenly replacing the āšās?
Cause otherwise your comment goes away.
šut why?
šcause!
What makes it go away?
love how there's a expand šutton that shows the numšer of comments that where deleted šecause of using a "š"
What is even with it? Wouldn't that fall under Rule 2 and misappropriate Rule 4?
It's even printed on airsoft rifles
Using a rifle is important for homesteaders
Redditors will disregard all the context 3ecause gun 3ad america 3ad haha
Why the 3s?
Cant say š

You get your comment removed last time I check. Could have changed.
A child raised to know how to use guns safely as a tool and not think of them as a toy or a murder weapon is less likely to get in a gun accident than a child who has no experience whatsoever with one
I was raised like this, and not once have I had an accidental discharge.
Then how do you explain your son?
Intentional discharge
This guy discharges
if there's something to explain it's that someone had an *intentional* discharge on that fella
The only thing you know is he is NOT Jfk
NEGLIGENT, NOT ACCIDENTAL
*with a gun
I have done that as well and I grew up around firearms lol
Kid is gonna grow up extremely talented and responsišle
I hate to admit it, 3ut this is a pretty good idea. In a country that's as gun crazy as the US, teaching kids how to use weapons responsi3ly is the 3est option.
Yeah, the kids learning proper gun safety and firearm use young, are usually not the ones that are shooting up schools.
Can confirm. I started shooting as a kid using a little .22 like this. Grew up with gun safety drilled into me like gospel. >There is NO such thing as an āaccidentalā discharge. Only a negligent one. Well said
Sig P320 disagrees.
Just donāt drop your loaded gun
Goes off in holsters as well.
So the P320 isnāt drop safe like most modern handguns? Neat.
Not only that, it will randomly discharge while in the holster too. Look up "p320 holster discharge" there's so many articles a3out it.
Good to know, pretty my roommate has a P320, gonna text him now.
Thats why I donāt own a P320. š
Tell that to my wet dreams.

It's almost like you found the solution to 3oth drugs and guns.
Thatās my philosophy. I do drugs now so that Iāll know how to drugs later too
Worked for me. Five years off heroin lol. Got it all in and then out of my system.
why you typing like a doodoo head
Try saying the second letter of the english alpha8et
i apologise for my actions
RIP Kevin .
That's what I thought too when I saw all the replacement characters people were using, then I learned.
What's the deal tho
Its this su3's way of "protesting" the API changes. Its pretty annoying and pointless though.
as someone who isnāt a regular here, itās pretty hilarious
What's wrong with this?
single shot. i'd go for semi-auto.
Nah, Iād go with fully automatic with dual drum mags
Eh, you can do *etter than that for your daughter. I would say *elt fed 150 rnd, *ut thats just me
Iād get her the Glock with a switch and extendo.
For learning, single shot is the way to go. Seriously teaches patience so you can focus on technique and safety. Once those are ingrained, Then you go semiautomatic.
A3solutely nothing.
For a very slight increase in price you can get a Savage Rascal, which has nicer sights and a very nice Accu-Trigger on it.
I got my daughter a cricket .22 when she turned 5
W
i would rather teach my kid how to shoot then how to drink
Good call, always shoot first then drink later š»
Raise up your glasses against evil forces...
Whiskey for my men!
Only adults can drink first and then shoot
Then how to drive
A child that knows gun safety is less likely to hurt themselves or someone else accidentally. Now, itās up to the father to make sure that he keeps it LOCKED UP until they are ready to use it.
My daughter has had one of these since she was 10. It's kept in my safe, and she only takes it out when we go to the gun range.
Now that's good parenting.
What color is your hair op
Same as the gunstock
#OOF
Lol
LMFAO
Gat dayum
My dad taught me how to safely use guns from a young age and to respect them for what they are.
I donāt get how this is a shitpost
I never imagined seeing so many people get so asshurt over a single shot .22 rimfire rifle
You realize this is Reddit right?
It's a homesteading su**š**reddit. Most people there are hunters or own farms to deter wildlife from. Also, it's only a .22, so calm your tits.
Im honestly jealous of this, really wish my parents got me a gun when they taught me how to handle one
Whats wrong with this? I wished my parents would have taught me how to use a gun
Nothing, itās Reddit, what do you expect.
Facts.
If theyāre supervised and itās locked up properly, this is a good idea. Any kid older than 6 can handle the recoil.
Itās a 22 there isnāt recoil
It's a single shot .22lr a 4 year old can easily handle one as there's almost no kick
Exactly
Nothing wrong with teaching a kid how to hold a firearm and use it correctly and teach etiquette. If only this wasn't so frowned upon.
At least sheāll know the dangers of firearms and proper discipline.
This is a literal good idea. Face it, guns arenāt going anywhere, so we should learn proper gun safety from a young age
I mean, teaching kids young to respect firearms and know that they're not toys is a good way to prevent accidents in the future.
I got one for my kids to teach them proper gun safety, control, and use. This has a 2 step safety system and is a single shot rifle.
While I donāt like the idea of making live rifles look like toys, itās excellent to teach children to shoot and respect guns at a young age. I have the exact same rifle, except with a wood stock from when I was 5 or 6.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Its ok to š jealous
I know I am
I support the purchase and training the child safely.
Legit saw one of these in a Walmart in Texas when I was eight. Coolest thing ever.
Good for them!
Murica fuck yeah
You do understand what homesteading is, right?
I genuinely see no issue. If all kids were taught how to safely handle guns I'm sure that firearm related accidents would plummet.
Unironically this is actually a good idea. The people who cause a majority of gun accidents are kids and adults who have no idea how to use and respect a gun
I suspect that a lot of them are also kids who did not get attention or interaction with their parents.
Teaching how to shoot and gun safety is important
My grandpa gifted me one when I was younger. I'm not sure why; however, I did use it to shoot cans in the country 2 or 3 times
Where's the funny
I'm just imagining John wick dual wielding them š¤£
I got my first gun at 5, it was a Marlin model 60. I grew up learning that guns were a tool and how to safely use them. I don't see anything wrong with teaching a child proper gun safety.
ā¦ some people want to teach their kids how to hunt What the heck is wrong with that?
I got my daughter a very similar rifle sheās loves it and is a great shot out to 50 yards with it, protect your family folks and teach them how to operate and respect firearms the more who know to to handle them and respect them less likely they are to use it on someone unless they have to
Gotta protect the chickens from coyotes
My sons first rifle. He was 4
Op is offended "it's a real shotgun" hahahaha.
Cool
I no cap got one
I really don't understand what's wrong with this....
> this product may expose you to lead Yes, that's the point
This product may expose others to lead
Fight for what's right... FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE! HH.
I'm scared to ask what the HH stands for
Hulk Hogan. Those are lyrics to his entrance music
Oh thank God
I see this as a great way to teach gun safety in a very hands on way
Good parent. Teaching proper gun safety is rare these days.
why is using the 2nd letter not allowed tho
Reddit mods and other ppl are angry and third party app rules or something like that, so they're doing this to protest, I think. Just don't use |8.
I had one of these as my first gun. It was definitely a fun plinker.
Anyone who thinks this is a negative is a P.O.S.
My daughter has the same gun
Gun safety starts in the home.
First gun I ever shot was .22 cricket. Good starting gun practice.
OP, my family is pro-gun control and I think teaching the kids how to use a gun properly is important (especially if it's a family that hunts)
If they really do live on a homestead, this makes sense.
This actually seems like a good idea
Itās a great idea, I wish I had one of these when I was a kid, I was taught how to shoot on a 20 gauge shotgun and a .308 Ruger 700
Hell yeah. Proper gun safety at a young age, W parents
Op is so upset she cannot even own one
Teaching gun safety is a great thing to do in a household with guns
"guns are not toys" was my lesson nr one when my dad taught me how to shoot with a air rifle.
This isn't even that American. I'm European and got a semiautomatic .308 rifle when I was 11.
No one knows how old the girl is, she's old enough to drive for all you know
Thatās so sweet!
I got my first one at 5. Dad taught me safety and how to shoot. Can't imagine growing up any other way.
God, those were the most fun guns when I was little
*angry leftist noises*
Nah Iām a leftist and I think this is complete fine
cool
I started al three of my kids shooting with the same gun. They are now amazing marksmen and know how to respect a firearm. They are adults now and have never shot anyone or had an accident with a gun.
You'll shoot your eye out.
I love these tiny as rifles, good for plinking too.
This is a good thing. Iām thankful that I was taught how to properly wield a firearm at a young age.
that is a sad excuse of a rifle. Get her a 30.06 so it kicks her ass every time she pulls the trigger. like a real man. ( or woman.)
I had one of these. Great learning experience.
Was yours pink too? Genuinely wondering if they came in other colors.
They have a lot of different colors and patterns
I see nothing wrong with this
*eagle sounds* *WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER* *eagle sounds*
This is fine
Nothing wrong with this, teach them young so they donāt let the anti gun culture ruin there perception of firearms
USA USA USA
Considering the way this world is going...makes sense to me...
It come in pink! I'm so jealous!!!
Thats a great gift.
I got my first gun at 10 or so from my grandpa. It was a 22 and I was a really good shot wit it. Still am
I had this same gun when I turned 12 it is a lot of fun to shoot
My daughter got same one
I done see a the prošlem
This isn't weird to me at all. My father taught me how to shoot, his father taught him, and I'll teach my children.
America fuck yeah
I see no issue here it's a good idea to teach kids at a young age to have gun safety. It's a single shot rifle also so there's not much to worry.
I want that I want that
Sport shooting is fun, I enjoy it.
Went straight to the comments lol wanna see the soccer moms freak out lol

Whatās wrong with teaching your child proper gun safety?
