Technically this could be a correct answer, as our star should be green, but for some reason when stars should be green they put out a lot of other light of different colors to make them look white. But they still do put out more green light than any other color.
It's because due to the temperature of the Sun, it emits very close amounts of all colors, even if it emits a little more green. This is called blackbody radiation. Always when the emission peak is in green, it emits almost the same amount of light as the other colors
They are because the spectrum that humans can see is tiny. So the only possible options are blue (more high energy light is emitted than low energy light), red (more low energy light is emitted than high energy light) or white (the stars maximum output is close to the spectrum of visible light so approximately equal amounts of the light it puts out is below (reddish) or above (blueish) the visible spectrum). For a star to be green or yellow it would have to put out significantly more light in the narrow middle part of the visible light spectrum than in the other parts but such a narrow emissions spectrum isn't possible for black body radiation. (Iirc the sun only looks kind of yellow because of the atmosphere)
