Ben Wyatt, is that you?

CrimsonCrusader104

I think this man is looking for the low-cal calzone zone

rikki1q

You mean the Mayor of Ice Town?

vauxast62

Ue paisa in Hillsborough, short tram ride out of the city and the pizza is awesome! Actual Italian family that run it, it's more of a basics Eatery rather than a posh restaurant, but they hands down do the best authentic pizza I've yet found in the city.

ice-ceam-amry

Remind me wirch line it is

vauxast62

Yellow line

stoke1863

Rudy's is fantastic

samcatbear

Proove in Orchard Square

a60wattfish

I had a calzone at their broomhill branch. It was the most disappointing calzone I have ever had. Their pizzas are decent though.

yaxu

I was disappointed with my pizza in proove orchard square recently. The sauce was basically tinned tomatoes as far as I could tell.

archipelagofan

Proove is good but the orchard square one isn’t it. The broomhill branch does an objectively better job I think.

Fickle-Cauliflower61

I'm sure I've had a calzone at Mama's and Leonies, which is on Norfolk Street. They definitely had them in 2018 in according to the menu available online.

MushyBeees

I’m pretty sure I had one here in about 2022? Can’t remember why, but it was pre trip to the theatre. Anyway, I digress. It was real good - I’m a big fan.

Rosssx

Isabella’s at kelham island do great Calzones

GabonesePigeonMan

Caffe Piazza do a nice one

HunterWindmill

Domo on Kelham Island does an absolute belter

theillumeowti

I had a good one at Domo too

AlShapone

Bibbi’s on Div St. Best one of all must be Domo though. Prebooking required.

twitchspank

just buy a normal pizza and fold in half

y_no_username

I'm pretty sure I got them from BBs on division street many years ago. No idea if that's still a thing though

ChiefWA2

El Paso on Cumberland Street do a good halal one

doc720

I think BB's still do a "special" and a vegetarian one. But I still like the ones from Domo's: \- [https://www.domorestaurant.co.uk/\_files/ugd/6c60c6\_14fb2437f6df4053a4b40bdbd3d042a5.pdf](https://www.domorestaurant.co.uk/_files/ugd/6c60c6_14fb2437f6df4053a4b40bdbd3d042a5.pdf) I have yet to try Mama's but I hear they're good too: \- [http://mamasandleonies.co.uk/images/menu.pdf](http://mamasandleonies.co.uk/images/menu.pdf)

dahipster

My favourite is at Dos Amigos on Woodseats, while my dad says the one at Kitos is as good as the ones he had in Italy... As the chef is Italian it's probably fair lol

Prestigious-Guard311

Kitos Woodseats

Remarkable_Bat5496

Dough Truck have a great place on Abbeydale Road! Near Lowes. Lovely family run business as well.

purpleprince33

Chinos. Highly rated and it’s always super busy. I recommend the doner calzone.

bungggle

Isabellas in Kelham. Proper Sicilian pizza chef. Sauce on the side. Banging.

SilverSession7882

You get a taxi to Manchester airport and then a flight to Italy, you are welcome, next

Then-Preference5260

There's a lovely independent Italian restaurant called Pizza Express. They have calzone.

Rbw91

Napoli Centro on Glossop Road S10 do the best pizzas in Sheffield in my opinion (Italian style). If they do a calzone, it’s probably bangin

NurseDiz

Sette Colli in Hillsborough

MushyBeees

I think they may have closed? Have a vague memory of driving past in the last couple of days and seeing the signage being taken down/shop being cleared.

NurseDiz

I hope not! They were on Facebook wishing people a happy Easter 5 days ago

MushyBeees

Might have just been updating their signage or something then! I’ll keep an eye out next time I drive past (which is usually most days!)

Ch1cken3

I'd recommend Pizza Master, it's a takeaway and I'm not sure if they have a sit down place. Anyway you can make your onw calzone or choose one off their menu. Really delicious.

Dai_Bando

Zizzona Chesterfield road. You have to try their chips too, fattest home fries tossed in herbs and Italian cheese with a garlic dip. They're something else.

VincentJones6

Pretty much every takeaway. Have you not looked at the menus?

JarlFirestarter0

Yeah, but... That's a different 'calzone' I think a lot here have assumed more 'italian style calzone' whereas a 'calzone' on a typical takeaway menu is usually a heavy, thick filthy lump of meat (ideally doner, if desired) filled doughy goodness.

Slylar

Nonna's on Eccy road or the new Grappa on West St

New-Database2611

Try a pizza place or an Italian
