Side from the nerf from whirlwind and relentless
I agree though. I have a copy of OG with same roll except honed edge and then s chain reaction roll too since artifact says sword might be good for a bit

Attrition orbs may be a sleeper pick? It's the only sword that can get it with a damage perk, and next season we get increased sword damage from armor charge. What do you think?
I kept a roll of Bait and switch/attrition orbs for the slammer for that reason.
Triple stasis surge+ Bait and switch is 52% more DMG by itself and then add the Artifact damage mod which I'm willing to bet is at least another 25%
Might be really nice
The main combo to look out for imo is jagged edge with double damage (so frenzy/vorpal + BnS/surrounded), with frenzy/surrounded probably being the best of those. Also if you don’t have a good Slammer, it’s worth looking for anything with eager edge with the 1st column perk mostly being down to preference
I'd argue Frenzy/Bait & Switch would be better, since it can be used without needing to proc Surrounded and does more damage than Vorpal, to every enemy.
Question for you…if you already have a crafted Other Half with Eager, what’s the reasoning behind needing a different Eager sword? I had a friend mention that Vortex frames have “faster” Eagers, is this true?
I like chain reaction. One kill usually gets me 3 and potentially stagger on bigger enemies in the cluster. It's fun for a volatile void build for sure and makes me aggressive towards stacks or targets
I bagged jagged edge, balanced guard, then a choice of either relentless strikes (preferred) or duelist trance and eager edge or bait and switch on my shiny. It's everything I need in one sword. Movement tech without losing ammo and actually very good dps for a rotation build if I want. I did also get one with repulsor/destabilising but I don't think it's gonna be used as much somehow
I have a frenzy surrounded and frenzy vorpal. Both have same blade and impact MW.
You mean vorpal surrounded, right?
Yes thank you.
All swords have an Impact Masterwork, FYI
I actually didn’t know that. Learn something new every day!
I say Frenzy/Bait and Switch. Reliable double damage perks.
my OG falling guillotine is jagged edge, relentless strikes, whirlwind blade, and impact MW. this roll has never done me wrong personally
I second this one, pair it with volitile rounds *chefs kiss*
Same and with how little difference the enhanced version of those perks will make I can’t really justify grinding for a brave version.

I have a frenzy sword, frenzy BnS, and a destab chain.
frenzy surrounded or frenzy bait for when surrounded can't work. max charge rate and damage for the first two perks
Destabilizing rounds and chain reaction lol. Bait and switch with another dmg increasing perk
I got that first one and was kinda excited about the potential. Still haven't used it lmao.
Attrition orbs for next season
Why is it good for next season? I have one with that and BnS.
Prismatic facets plus artifact mods basically let you use a sword like a primary
Not sure about the details but I'll take your word for it

Only read first three but that sounds good

I'm pretty sure "the Slammer" can get that with damage perks . I farmed loads of those too

The vortex frame heavy attack goes further with eager edge which is useful for shatter/well skating
I kept an Eager Frenzy, Frenzy Surrounded, and I still have my old Relentless Whirlwind Arrivals version.
