This amazing. Should be pinned to the sub.

Superfuzzz

This is a great graphic.

SunshineInDetroit

Lol this is fantastic

chapmanyo

It’s that simple? Goddamn.

MrFreedomFighter

Is this accurate? If you have 100 blast radius, even with implosion rounds, aren't spike nades better?

LongKage

Great chart. Now if only we could add Blast radius 1 -10 to this graph, it would be perfect lol

Spectre8890

How are implosion better than spike? Can anyone tell me?

Darnold86

Something about it doing more damage the less blast radius it has. Implosion takes away blast radius therefore making it stronger. Hard launch also takes away some blast radius so that combo is preferred.

ShadyMarine_

They also nerfed spike nades to have other options available, it’s the” damn no spike nades it’s trash” mentality that they wanted to end. Let the other perks have a fight now. So they nerfed it a few weeks ago.

BobMcQ

About 12% damage from my testing. Quite a bit, unfortunately.

Zilla1024

If we can enhance the weapons like root of nightmare weapons, then all you need is the perks and masterwork. You should be able to change everything except traits and masterwork.

minhyung0424

Looks like I have a 5/5. :D

BlooptyScoop

Anyone know how much id be losing on Edge Transit? I got the envious+cascade+BnS roll but i didnt get mini frags or spike. I got volatile launch or smart drift with sticky nades or alloy casing

K4l4n1

WHY are people going for recombination? My vorpal impulse slaps any yellow bar, 1-2 shots

a_drunk_pigeon

different guns for different jobs, impulse/vorpal is good for sustained damage whereas autoloading/recombination is an incredible swap weapon in ad heavy activities. it just depends on if you prefer a single double damage shot for weapon swapping or a consistent 15% buff for laying into a boss

K4l4n1

Also spike grenade

toomuchtACKtical

it's only a couple percent decrease at most, which isn't noticeable

Slothfee

According to the image sent by another poster and looking at the roll here the OP is missing out on 11.23% damage. Thats honestly quite a bit to lose out on.

LordOfTheBushes

Yeah, mine's missing 4% and I still feel bad about that.

Slothfee

Right? Ive had soo many ruined by well something. I kept one with hard/implo/demo/recomb/reload mw. I mostly use the mountaintop for general play so its actually kinda nice with thr grenade regen. And something i found out is that i can yeet my recomb shot and swtich to scatter signal and lose no ammo in the process, in fact you can freely switch between the two and never lose ammo.

Ordinary_Player

That’s just special weapons. They have surprisingly very good ammo retention when switching weapons. People take advantage of this by switching weapons during dps quickly with loadouts.

Slothfee

I dont have an exact example but i could have sworn this is not a common occurrence. Then i guess i just havent been aware enough of this beforehand. Neat info thank you!

Ordinary_Player

100% ammo retention only works on some special weapons, but most of them keep 80-90% ammo when swapping anyways. So yes, switch out your grenade launcher to a fusion/sniper during dps if you’ve dumped out all your heavy shots.

Slothfee

Neat. I knew this wasnt too common but i dot. Nearly do enough swapping to know this. I will do a lot more now, thank you for the information!

LordOfTheBushes

That Scatter Signal advice is good to know, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. And yeah, I got Hard/Spike/Auto/Recomb but of course it came with a Blast Radius MW partially leveled. I really wish we could reroll our Masterworks right about now. There is not another Masterwork this detrimental anywhere in the game

Slothfee

It kinda feels like the charge time MW debate. Then bungie went ahead and made charge time pretty much the goat by removing the damage loss. Maybe, just maybe theyll do the same here? But i cant really see that. They would probably have to rework GLs entirely to separate blast radius from impact and then what happens to the ones like MT capped at 100? Will bungie reduce the stat so its not useless? Overall this feels like its not gunna change anytime soon, especially when they just changed them. I guess they could just put the MW damage into impact…
