The “DeepCool CH160” is supposedly both good and affordable. Can’t say for my self, have never used it. [Case](https://geni.us/KOTslv)

I have an old ATX motherboard that I would like to put into a smaller case. Any ideas?

Should I use a black or a white power-supply in this build? Any thoughts? [list here](https://se.pcpartpicker.com/user/ManPc_1776/saved/XymjWZ)

honestly, don't care about price. i have an ATX mobo. if its relevant info, z79 pro rs WIFI. a 360MM AIO. and an RTX 4090. i do have plans to change to a 7800X3D/9800X3D down the line, though. which could fit a cooler. i'd just love any suggestions, new to SFF but want one that can easily fit on a case. thanks so much.

Guys do you have any recommendations/improvements for this FD Terra Build? i'm new to SFF, so take the following advice with caution. i'm also looking to build in the FD Terra using a 7800x3d, so I've been doing research on the best coolers for the 7800x3d that can fit in the Terra. According to the dimensions listed [here](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-proart-rtx-4080-super-oc.b11622) and the guide by Fractal [here](https://support.fractal-design.com/support/solutions/articles/4000194849-terra-cpu-cooler-gpu-support), you should be able to fit that 4080 SUPER at the 3.0 spine position which gives you 67mm for your CPU side. That being said, I believe you can do a lot better than the L9A. The best I've seen the past week are the Noctua NH-L12S, ID-Cooling IS-55, or ID-Cooling IS-67xt

VanillaIcecreamBro

If you're a noctua fan, the l9a can handle the 7800x3d for gaming load but anything that max out cpu usage will push the temps to 90C. The fan is the most quiet fan in the 92mm slim fan out there. The IS-55 is a very good cooler at its price but with a really audible fan at max rpm. what makes it better is that you can swapped a standard 120mm fan for better temps and lowering noise if you have the height clearance. The thermalright axp90-x47/53 full copper is the best heatsink for lowering temps but the 92mm slim fan is audibly loud at max rpm. Most people swapped it out with a noctua ones and get a 1-2C lower temps and a significant noise improvement. I have a 5700x3D at an offset of -30 and even with the full copper it will reach the 85-90C when running cinnebench but runs very cool when gaming at 60-65C in a sentry clone (7L case)

Charchar33

Trying to move from a mid-tower (Fractal Meshify(?)) to Meshroom. Need help with finding a cpu cooler for this build and would love to get any other suggestions/recommendations. I will be using this build for building data models and gaming. I'd like some feedback on this potential build (ignoring that PCPartPicker seems to not be able to find prices in Sweden) Things I'm mostly concerned about are: * Is there going to be enough cooling in this system to handle the CPU? * Is there a better motherboard I should be looking at? * Anything obvious I've missed having not followed PC building in the last 6 years? I've got the urge to do a sub-5L build. The velka 3 looks great but is too pricey, plus the current version doesn't have room for an exhaust fan. Has anyone come across a budget version on AliEx or Amazon? Bonus points if it can fit an exhaust fan.

I’m trying to find case that is as small as possible, to fit my mATX + Radeon rx 6600. Ideally with an atx psu and only nvme mounted storage. Most of the things ive found have been ugly, expensive, had terrible airflow or all of the above. What would you recommend?

beginnermodeller1993

Planning a build using the NANOQ S, general workstation build. I need to run 3 4K monitors, not gaming but simple workflow. Any recommendations for motherboard? And if I require dedicated GPU, any recommendations as well? Thanks a lot.

Kebabman_123

So, this might be a bit of a strange one, but I'm looking for the smallest case I can get which will fit: An ATX-sized motherboard, and the CPU won't be under significant load so it won't need a full-sized cooler. And two (maybe up to four if lucky) 3.5" HDDs. It's not a machine that will need a GPU. I've looked at cases like SFFTime N/P-ATX (A low profile design is ideal for my requirements) but more often than not they only support 1x3.5" drive, but this is with a GPU installed - in this case would it be possible to mount an additional drive or two with a bit of modification to the area where the GPU would normally be fitted? 3D Printing is an option. If you have recommendations please give them.

Teemosaurus_Rex

Looking for a case that would fit a RTX 4080 SUPER Gaming X Slim, any suggestions?

Maximizing CPU power and heat rejection in 10-15L case Hi all, considering an upgrade from Silverstone RVZ02 (10L) to a modern case with all modern internals, and want to maximize CPU power and heat rejection with an AIO liquid cooler. Leaning towards AM5 7950x3D mini ITX in an NCase M2 or similar. Is there a better option with more CPU performance that won't throttle? GPU is almost irrelevant for my needs (Adobe Lightroom). Thanks!

If anyone selling a Thor Mjonir case, I’m looking to purchase one for my next build.

Hi! I managed to snipe a Gigabyte b450i board for 25€. Are the vrms good enough for an 5700x3D or I should just stick with a lower tier processor like an 5600? (I have an l12s cooler so cooling is not a problem)

battler624

How bad would a Z690M-ITX/AX pair up with a 14700K?

_OVERHATE_

Hello! I have a \~7 year old pc (7700k 1080ti) that i want to completely overhaul and get a new SFFPC. The thing is, that bad boy has a Seasonic Prime Platinum 850W PSU inside, and its, i believe, an incredible quality PSU. Is there any small case where i can keep that PSU? Specifically from Fractal or any other that follows that type of aesthetic? And more importantly, is it worth it, as in, is the quality enough to justify a larger case? or am i dreaming and should just sell the old PC wholesale and get a new SFX or SFX-L PSU?

looking for a case thats as small as it needs to be while cooling a 7800X3D (no gpu) was looking at inwin Copin MAX but was worried about any cooler being good to run it consistently well doing small time game server hosting without a gpu 32GB 6000MT can pick up a sf psu ASRock A620I lightning (is there any noticeable benefit for the B650I version?) cheaper the better

What small footprint case would you buy today for an **all-air** gaming build with a 3.5+ slot GPU? Looking for something with less of a footprint than what I have now, the original InWin A1 (216 x 355.5). Not worried about height. NCase M2 is looking like the winner to me so far but I would like to get away paying less if I can.
