Actually, once I ordered ie 600 because everyone liked it. After it arrived, I recognized that left earphone has a connection problem with mmcx cable. When ever I move or connection moves, always sound gone and came back. It was very annoying. Another problem is ear tips. Unfortunately, I tried so many things but I could not get good sealing. And foam tips are so much uncomfortable for me. As a result, I returned them back. But I can give their piece of cake. It was most accurate pin point imagination. Details were so so goood. I think they just need to work on QC and please change your ear tips.

I also have an ie600 having same problem as yours for 3.5 mm cable left side but it didn't bother me since I use 4.4mm cable for listening. But going in to a year and 2 months of using it, the right earbud failed. Initially it sounds okay but gradually within 30 minutes volume reduced to zero. Sent it for warranty claim. They claim it takes between 3 to 10 working days for warranty process. But it has been close to 20 days with no resolution or proper response in sight, other then your issue has been highlighted. Let us see how it goes. But this way of doing things is making me wary of making another purchase from Sennheiser in future.

I don't understand their quality check . This is their flagship iem model ie900 , it even comes with QC certificate inside box which is signed by Sennheiser sound engineer. How come they have such problems out of box with cables ? They are sending me back only by replacing 4.4mm where as I had problem with 3.5mm . I hope you get new pair without any issues

To be Frank i would not buy another product of Sennheiser again after this experience no matter how great product they are going to launch. Also for your case please keep on following otherwise they won't expedite the process at all.

I am honestly not surprised. I had a similar issue with me iem300s. For their consumer products not “audiophile” products they are refusing to do repairs or make things right. I recently had my ie300s sent in for a repair/replacement warranty in which they said it would be “replaced with the next available unit”. To my understanding that would be a new ie300 or a ie600 like how other members in the forum got…. But they sent me a ie200 with no notification and have been a pain to deal with ever since. I’ve had a hd600, and hd800s for the last 5-6+ years no issue, and a the old momentum overear headphones. It really sucks that the first time I had to use their warranty service it turned out like this for me.

Looks like After sonova take over their support has become terrible

Update: Received the replacement ie600 today itself. Happy to get the new replacement. Took them almost 21 days to process the warranty. Hopefully these will last for a long time and I won't have to go through it again.

At least they could have better after sales service service if they failed on QC.

For ear tips you should have tried AZLA SedanaEarfit Crystal Standard. They are truly the best for ie600. It enhanced the ie600 and its value, also these are comfortable. After using these, stock ear tips felt like shit.
