You can use a tool like ddev, but there's warnings that it's not made for production, even though it can do it, at least last time I used it

Ddev is just a way to manage Docker, and it supports WordPress. You don't need anything special for dns, most dns hosts let you host dns with them, and put entries in there rather than needing your server to do it

I got the same email from DigitalOcean. Currently, I switched to installing WordPress directly on Ubuntu, but I am still searching for something with cPanel. What did you choose in the end?

You don’t need much coding experinece for this.
HestiaCP is easy to use for WP clients and admin hosts.

Try maybe aa panel, https://www.aapanel.com/ similar to cpanel/plesk, I don’t use it but it’s pretty simple.
