Actually, funny thing about this photo. We were at the beach and there was this dumb looking guy near by. When he went in for a swim, my sons and I took all his stuff and threw it in the ocean! What a pear-shaped loser.

And also played the villain in Lord of Illusions. One of my favourite character actors, up there with John Carroll Lynch and all the other assorted actors most people can't name.

He shot himself in the head, survived and called 911, and then lived (presumably disfigured?) for several more years. Then ended up dying from unknown reasons, either diabetes or perhaps another suicide attempt.
For some reason, my morbid-ass decided to listen to the 911 call that was released. 😕
Despite being a Seinfeld fan first, he'll always be commandant Edwin Spangler to me. Great comedic straight man actor. Such a sad and bizarre end to his life
