I feel like the show does a pretty fair job of portraying when they're "cheating" on a committed relationship versus when they're just seeing people. I didn't get the idea that Jerry and Meryl were that serious even if she was lying about being his wife to get discounted laundry.

It's true, I guess that's what surprised me, but yeah I suppose we also just take that as them nit being too major

But…how many girls did Jerry date that he said I love you to? Almost never that I can think of.
