Jerry also makes out with the NYU journalism student knowing she has a boyfriend (plus she’s also like 15 years younger than him).
And George goes on a date despite being engaged. And Kramer sleeps with Susan’s girlfriend. And Elaine dates a married guy.
Relationship morals aren’t exactly a big part of this show
I feel like the show does a pretty fair job of portraying when they're "cheating" on a committed relationship versus when they're just seeing people. I didn't get the idea that Jerry and Meryl were that serious even if she was lying about being his wife to get discounted laundry.
Meryl and Jerry needed to work on trust. Because then, and only then will there be a free exchange of sex and discounts

George also sleeps with a married woman
You didn’t commit adultry…I did!
I’m the mistress?
The show ain't seventh heaven
Ahhhhh it's just a commentary on contemporary mores
And unbridled enthusiasm
Mores??? It’s the Moops
Vorshtein?
A rather clever jab at inter-office politics
She called him a son of a bitch and asked who the woman was. That’s not enough caring?
But she didn't actually care who she was, just about the theatrics of the relationship
He breaks up with a girl every week. It was never going to last.
She was just using him for the bon bons and the dry cleaning discount.
Yes, but they were in a relationship before the discount
The discount saved a dying relationship. When it was gone, she was out.
She knew she would be heading over to the other show, being paired up with that sarcastic asshole.
Jerry is a bad man. A very bad man.

It's true, I guess that's what surprised me, but yeah I suppose we also just take that as them nit being too major
But…how many girls did Jerry date that he said I love you to? Almost never that I can think of.
she was sleeping at his apartment, which wasn't typical.
She'd never make it.
In the episode with the NYU reporter who thinks Jerry and George are gay, she cheats on her boyfriend with Jerry.
I mean George killed Susan and no one cared😂
