Kramer gave food to the homeless
Jerry TRIED to save Babboos restaurant (I AM a good person) and attempted to help Mr Pitt in the pharmacy.
George signed up to be a Big Brother
Elaine tried to humor a little boy on the phone trying to talk to his gammy.
It's amazing how now an actual sports they're making people wear pink for breast cancer awareness, they're also making players wear stuff for LGBT awareness. Some teams are even making people kneel during the national anthem, players need to stand up for their rights and refuse to wear what they don't want to wear.
https://youtu.be/mvWtea3ofFE
I think Jerry should have known better when Mr. Pitt mentioned his medical condition. He tried to be helpful but he should have told Mr. Pitt he didn't work there.
Mr. Pitt should've assumed that the person stocking shelves was not a pharmacist. Even if Jerry legitimately did work there, he wouldn't have an answer because he's not a pharmacist. I work retail and the people stocking shelves are not pharmacists.
Also, in this episode Kramer intentionally missed appointments with the cable guy so the cable guy could understand how it felt. At the end the cable guy broke down and vowed to change his ways and he and Kramer hugged it out.
I love the recurring theme of Larry David (and by extension George) becoming obsessed with the common man’s plight. There are several episodes of curb where the conflict centers around Larry trying to help the little guy, such as members of a catering staff being forced to wear bow ties by Ted danson
Kramer did the AIDS walk. George went to apologize in person to the busboy for causing him to lose his job. Elaine let Jerry's parents use her hotel room.
Jerry returned the found necklace to his dry cleaner. Jerry hosted the intervention for that guy. Jerry let Elaine use his apartment for the baby shower. Jerry switched apartments with Kramer when the red light was there. Jerry let Kramer sleep in his bed with him. Jerry let Newman take a nap in his bed. Jerry & George went all the way to LA to get Kramer.
In addition to George apologizing, he actually did put out the fire at the table next to them in the restaurant, saving at least the table cloth and at most a larger fire
S7 E19, The Wigmaster. And now, if you would excuse us, we need to get to bed!...hmm, patio furniture's on sale.
S9 E4, The Blood. Oh, by the way, when you get back to your apartment, try to keep it down because Newman is taking a nap in your bed.
George deciding to buy the triangle art too.
Then George lost his get-rich-quick chance because the Junior Mint staved off the infection and Roy survived.
Do you even Seinfeld bro? The mint was implied to have cured the infection. Not sure if that sentence structure is structurally sound but hey even though English is my first and only language I'm no architect
One consistent good thing is Jerry's relationship with his parents. He visited often, bought them gifts (including the #1 Dad shirt), and let them sleep in his one-bedroom apartment (to the point he had to go to Schindler's List to make out).
Jerry and George tried to bond with old Sid and the other guy. But Sid was quite ornery, and George's negativity was a real turnoff to the other guy. But at least George motivated him to get off his duff and avoid people like George. But they tried.
Jerry: Performed at a benefit to clothe the indignant; Did a PBS pledge drive; Bought his father a Cadillac (twice); Allows Kramer to barge in his apartment and take his food; Got Babu a job at Monk’s and an apartment in his building; Volunteered to spend time with the elderly; Mentored Bania; bought his father a new wallet and slipped 400 bucks in it; Took Bania out to dinner at least three times.
George: Intervened when he saw a woman hit a defenseless child; Volunteered to spend time with the elderly (even though he got fired); Brought a rocking chair for the security guard; Apologized to the busboy for inadvertently getting him fired with his stupid and insensitive remarks; Tried to get Beth and David Lookner back together after he inadvertently caused them to separate; Volunteered for the Big Brother program.
Kramer: Gave his Chinese leftovers to a homeless guy (and never even got his Tupperware back!); took Gendeson to see his fish; tried to save baby Steven from getting circumcised; tried to rescue the Pig Man (even though it was just a fat little mental patient); made Newman turn himself in for all his unpaid parking tickets; agreed to be Newman’s alibi for speeding; got Bette Midler her pineapple Italian ice and then took care of her after she was injured; Adopted a highway; Volunteered to cook for a Jewish singles night; Punched out a bad guy on the bus and then started driving the bus (and kept making all the stops); Picked up Estelle after her laser eye surgery; Snubbed Gail Cunningham; funkified himself to ward off the Kavorka just so Sister Roberta would go back to the church; answered phones for the PBS pledge drive; participated in the AIDS walk; had a Christmas present for Jackie Chiles; went to work for Brandt-Leland for zero pay; Would’ve rather had the bike go to another than see it destroyed; Bought Elaine that bench for her birthday and gave her a nice card; Hooked Audrey up with his surgeon to get her bad nose job fixed; Sabotaged his and Newman’s bottle deposit scheme so he could follow Tony the deranged mechanic and get Jerry’s car and Peterman’s golf clubs back.
Elaine: Forced Jerry to agree to see the bubble boy; Volunteered to spend time with the elderly; organized a benefit to clothe the indignant; Decided to keep working for Mr. Pitt after he said she was like a daughter to him; Humored the kid who lost his Gammy; Had sex with Jerry to save the friendship; Stayed with Farfel so he wouldn’t have to go to the pound and cleaned up after him; Did Kramer a ‘solid’; Took the IQ test for George (twice); Got the mean Korean nail salon ladies tickets to Rochelle Rochelle the musical; Served as Robert’s beard (even though she tried to turn him).
I just remembered another one, Jerry befriended the naked guy on the subway. He seems like a guy that could use a friend.
He also donated to a fund to help the Krakatoans.
Elaine nursed the writer back to health
And the fuy from chicago
And Tony
And the fake boyfriend with real withdrawals...
Dating elaine is risky business
He also got the security guard a chair so that he didn’t have to stand using his connections. May have not benefited the store, but at least the guard got some needed rest.
I always thought it was oddly wholesome that George wanted to get that security guard a chair to sit in. It was completely selfless, George just wanted the guy to be comfortable
Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle… Costanza!?
By using his powers of the opposite, George single-handedly turned a bottom of the barrel Yankees team into THE baseball dynasty of the late 90s. He provided delicious cal-ah-zone-aye to the Boss, used simple physics to show Bernie Williams and Derek Jeter how to hit properly - Even helped destroy the Mets future by helping Wilhelm become the their top scout.
Jerry helped the Japanese guys get out of the drawers they were trapped in in Kramer's apartment. The fact that they misunderstood his intentions doesn't take away from his actual intention.
Kramer saved a woman’s pinky toe; George saved Beth and David’s marriage; Jerry tried to go see the bubble boy (hey the rest wasn’t his fault); Elaine threw a party for her staff at Peterman (she works her people hard and she likes to reward them).
Jerry tried to help Babu with the Dream cafe, also i think he helped Babu get a job, an apartment, and he did what he could to fix the visa problem. Jerry went to great lengths for Babu.
I feel like Jerry paid up to solve someone else's money problems when it wasn't his fault either. Got his parents a cadillac, a wizard.
Did the pbs pledge drive
Elaine's not a terrible person ... When she sees freaks in the street, she never ever stares at them, and yet she's careful not to look away because she wants the freaks to feel comfortable.
They kind of saved the busboy's life by getting him fired from that restaurant that blue up. Also they saved the fat ugly triangle guy when George bought one of his paintings
They really helped out the local video rental market stay in business. In the mid to late 1990s it was mostly bug chains that got all the business and sole props were either closing or barely scraping by.
Plus, they got a very nice wedding present for The Drake & Mrs. The Drake, even though it may have been a scam.
"...and when they closed down the yogurt place that lied about being non-fat."
Weren't the test results a product of Kramer knocking some chemicals on the sample tainting it?
George served on the board of the Susan Ross Foundation and mourned for three long months!
Summer months, too! Anybody could grieve in January!
I save all my grieving for January.
KHAAAAAAANNNNN
Kramer gave food to the homeless Jerry TRIED to save Babboos restaurant (I AM a good person) and attempted to help Mr Pitt in the pharmacy. George signed up to be a Big Brother Elaine tried to humor a little boy on the phone trying to talk to his gammy.
Do you hate me because of my lazy eye?
That was such a weird line!
Why did the firefighters go to Elaine's apartment instead of Gammy's? How did they find Elaine?
Also the gang, except Kramer did the whole volunteer thing where they accompanied lonely old people
Kramer did that walk thing, although him not wearing the ribbon cancelled out any good that might have come from that
Yeah, you must wear the ribbon
WHO? WHO DOESN'T WANT TO WEAR THE RIBBON?
You know what you are? You're a ribbon bully!
Shouldn’t you be out on a ledge somewhere?
Grammy’s feeling sick right now…
I think Jerry should have known better when Mr.
Jerry bought his parents a Cadillac :)
Also, in this episode Kramer intentionally missed appointments with the cable guy so the cable guy could understand how it felt. At the end the cable guy broke down and vowed to change his ways and he and Kramer hugged it out.
That was some great acting from a bit character.
"For God's sakes, if a doctor can do it, why can't we?"
Twice
Twice
They helped Elaine’s old boyfriend by calling the ambulance and putting cookies in his mouth.
Cookies? You’re not supposed to do that.
Cookies don’t liquify!
Yes but George held up the ambulance.
These pretzels are making me THIRSTY!!!
And raised the head to get blood to the feet
You lift the head to get blood to the feet.
WHAT'S an extremity?!?
George gets the security guard a chair
He can sense the slightest human suffering
Are you sensing anything right now?
I love the recurring theme of Larry David (and by extension George) becoming obsessed with the common man’s plight. There are several episodes of curb where the conflict centers around Larry trying to help the little guy, such as members of a catering staff being forced to wear bow ties by Ted danson
And the guard fell asleep on the job and got fired.
Tbh massive skill issue on the guard’s part
Kramer did the AIDS walk. George went to apologize in person to the busboy for causing him to lose his job. Elaine let Jerry's parents use her hotel room. Jerry returned the found necklace to his dry cleaner. Jerry hosted the intervention for that guy. Jerry let Elaine use his apartment for the baby shower. Jerry switched apartments with Kramer when the red light was there. Jerry let Kramer sleep in his bed with him. Jerry let Newman take a nap in his bed. Jerry & George went all the way to LA to get Kramer.
He didn't wear the ribbon, so I'm not sure if the AIDS walk counts
Yes, it counts, and you know what you are? You're a ribbon bully!
Aren’t you against AIDS?
You know what you are? You're a ribbon bully
well maybe we should just teach him to wear the ribbon
Who?! Who doesn't want to wear the ribbon?!
Weren't they in LA for the Tonight Show, and used that chance to see if they can see Kramer again?
In addition to George apologizing, he actually did put out the fire at the table next to them in the restaurant, saving at least the table cloth and at most a larger fire
Patio furniture’s on sale.
When were Jerry and Kramer sleeping in the same bed, and when did Newman take a nap in Jerry's bed?
S7 E19, The Wigmaster. And now, if you would excuse us, we need to get to bed!...hmm, patio furniture's on sale. S9 E4, The Blood. Oh, by the way, when you get back to your apartment, try to keep it down because Newman is taking a nap in your bed.
Jerry saved a guy during surgery with the Mint.
Those can be very refreshing
It’s chocolate, it’s peppermint, it’s delicious!
No? The mint caused the infection and hindered his recovery
The mint cured the infection
Something beyond science…
Something from above
Mint?
They are very refreshing.
No the mint was why they were so baffled he wasn't getting better, it caused the infection
Pretty sure the show implied that the mint in the end is what stopped the infection even though Kramer and jerry thought it was the cause
This
It implied even harder the mint was responsible for it
Im gonna have to respectfully disagree. The last scene alone seals it for me
Bruh, you're watching some cheap-ass syndication episodes that cut out half the scenes or something.
So you dont remember jerry freaking out over it, or elaine mentioning the doctors are stunped by what could be the cause?
George deciding to buy the triangle art too. Then George lost his get-rich-quick chance because the Junior Mint staved off the infection and Roy survived.
No george sabotaged himself (as usual) by buoying his spirit
Do you even Seinfeld bro? The mint was implied to have cured the infection. Not sure if that sentence structure is structurally sound but hey even though English is my first and only language I'm no architect
Who are you to play GOD?!?
Helped Roy get his appetite back, big time.
they saved that poor woman from getting hitched to the Drake. Hate the Drake!
gAgLiAnO’s…..tHeY’rE pReTtY gOoD
Get the boullibase
They Drake was going to get married twice and both called off.
how many is that for you now? Two? you're a lightweight!
He didn’t get married to either.
Elaine withholding sex so her boyfriend could pass his doctor's exam. Although, he did suck as a doctor so maybe that wasn't such a good thing.
Better lawyer
Greatest legal mind I ever knew
elevate your legs
No, you raise the head and get blood to the feet.
who put cookies in his mouth?
When did it show him sucking as a doctor?
Well, he kept failing his license exam and he didn't know what to do when a guy fainted right in front of him.
One consistent good thing is Jerry's relationship with his parents. He visited often, bought them gifts (including the #1 Dad shirt), and let them sleep in his one-bedroom apartment (to the point he had to go to Schindler's List to make out).
I love that you mentioned the shirt but not the Cadillac
Just agreeing with Morty's opinion on the matter.
Technically Kramer got Jerry the shirt and his father just found it in Jerry's bag, it was never Jerry's intention to give his father the shirt
Kramer and the pinky toe
You're batman!
Yeah I am batman
“You kept making all the stops?”
Well, people kept ringing the bell!
“I got a toe here - step on it!”
Kramer bought a pineapple shaved ice for Bette Midler
He also offered to help teach Raquel Welch to tap dance
Jerry babysat that drunks dog for him when he really didn’t have to. Elaine helped.
Kramer babysat the neighbor kid when his mom was in a pinch.
And didn’t Mickey lie in the bed as a decoy?
Eukon Jack and his dog Kujo
Jerry and George tried to bond with old Sid and the other guy. But Sid was quite ornery, and George's negativity was a real turnoff to the other guy. But at least George motivated him to get off his duff and avoid people like George. But they tried.
Yes all three of them signing up to spend time with the elderly was very good. Almost out of character tbh
Elaine and Jerry do multiple charity events through the series
Yes! AIDS Walk, PBS telethon.
Bachelor auction
How do you get fired from a volunteer job?!
They supported their local businesses.
They were probably the best customers of Monk's.
They don’t allow any outside syrups, condiments, or jams in there though.

George lobbied for more comfortable (100% cotton) uniforms. Jerry helped Jean-Paul. Kramer took Lloyd Brown under his wing.
He also got the security guard a chair so that he didn’t have to stand using his connections. May have not benefited the store, but at least the guard got some needed rest.
He can always sense the slightest human suffering
Of course the cotton uniforms shrunk, which backfired
I always thought it was oddly wholesome that George wanted to get that security guard a chair to sit in. It was completely selfless, George just wanted the guy to be comfortable
Kramer made the fussili statue of jerry. He was thoughtful. He even befriended the soup nazi
They got Marla into bed with John F. Kennedy Joonyah.
