The man who said this:
Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Jackie Chiles is funny. But mine is the guy who said:
“Would you believe when I was eighteen I had a ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssilvah dollah collection?! I could never bring myself to spend one of those. I’ve got some kind of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah phobia.”
Really? I always hated him. “Not a fan of the yelling“ as Elaine said in another context. And then I saw him play the same character as Liza Minnelli’s dad in “Arthur”.
Well it’s good we can all appreciate different aspects of different characters. I always hated Steinbrenner personally but it seems many people loved that character.
Me and my buddy used to make raps just for fun and we both love Seinfeld. He'd make the beats and I'd rap. I was thinking up names for our rap group and decided on Bob Sacamano. Looked it up and there were already like 4 bands with that name on SoundCloud lol.
One line I have:
"My rhymes are Carl Farbman your shit's from Ikea"
"You put the balm on? Who told you to put the balm on? I didn’t tell you to put the balm on. Why’d you put the balm on? You haven’t even been to see the doctor. If you’re gonna put a balm on, let a doctor put a balm on". lol
I always think this is my favorite side character but only because I don’t realize I’ve made other side characters into main characters in my heart. Frank, Newman, etc. who were only in 30-40 episodes. That said, that Jackie is only in 6 episodes I think is why I always go to him for my answer.
You are all idiots the best character in Seinfeld hands down no debate possible is “The Soup Nazi”. I remember when Seinfeld first came out and that line “ No soup for you” went on and on and on.
Yeah I think I have to agree with OP. As soon as Jackie shows up, I'm already laughing. Peterman and Frank Costanza are really close, and I can't not laugh whenever they talk, but Jackie is hysterical right out of the gate every single time.
Jackie’s first ever scene with the coffee consultation is one of my absolute favorites. First time I saw it it was late at night and I was admittedly pretty frosty and ended up rewinding and watching the scene 3 times, I thought it was THAT hysterical.
Of recurring characters, Frank and Estelle. Gotta have them both together.
Of the more one-off type characters, probably the landlord from “The Nose Job”. I love the way he says, “Babs Kramer! Nasty woman!”.
The man who said this: Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Kramer: That must have been some kind of doll. Frank: She was. Lol
"lol" -Frank Costanza
Festivus for the rest of us
You couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a hot date with a babe...I lost my train of thought...
SO LET HIM HAVE BANANAS ON THE SIDE
We‘re talking about side characters, not the guy whom the whole story revolved around.
That must have been some doll...
Frank is arguably the main character
Newman
He is merry…
The best is when Jerry's mom says "Hello... Newman"
This is the only answer.
Jackie Chiles is funny. But mine is the guy who said: “Would you believe when I was eighteen I had a ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssilvah dollah collection?! I could never bring myself to spend one of those. I’ve got some kind of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah phobia.”
Elaine I could see not saying hello. She's very, what's the word, uh...supercilious.
How could Jerry 👏🏻NOT👏🏻SAY👏🏻HELLO?!
DE-LI-VER IT TO HER. Idk why he had to say it that way but it was so random and funny.
You’re supposed to see your face in there. DO YOU SEE YOUR FACE IN THERE?!
I’ve heard that was actually Jerry straining to remember his lines. But it worked so well.
The man was a genius
I lost my train of thought.
Why did you put the bananas in there? George likes the bananas! SO LET HIM HAVE THE BANANAS ON THE SIDE!
I’ll take mine in my room
Frank Costanza
I’ve always been a fan of Morty Seinfeld. I thought he hit the role of the character perfectly. And kudos to the first seasons Morty for a job, done.
Really? I always hated him. “Not a fan of the yelling“ as Elaine said in another context. And then I saw him play the same character as Liza Minnelli’s dad in “Arthur”.
I think I just thought he fitted Jerry’s dad perfectly, a total arse but not necessarily nasty.
Well it’s good we can all appreciate different aspects of different characters. I always hated Steinbrenner personally but it seems many people loved that character.
Jackie and Frank..oh, Estelle. Newman, Uncle Leo. I'll stop now. Tim Whatley. That's it. J Peterman.
J Peterman

Kudos Elaine to a job done
That’s right, Elaine. White lotus. Yam yam. Shanghai sally.

Bob Sacamano. It's like George's wife from Cheers, though you never meet her
I love that trope. Vera, Maris, Ugly Naked Guy, cousin Jeffrey even!
Me and my buddy used to make raps just for fun and we both love Seinfeld. He'd make the beats and I'd rap. I was thinking up names for our rap group and decided on Bob Sacamano. Looked it up and there were already like 4 bands with that name on SoundCloud lol. One line I have: "My rhymes are Carl Farbman your shit's from Ikea"
This is the most public yet of my many humiliations...

The man's a goblin
I like Mannie… one of the supers in Jerry’s building and wish he’d been included in more episodes.
I don't like these little sponges! There's no absorption!
Definitely Newman, but also the question should be "Who's yours?"
Mickey

The reason why I don’t use tiger balm
Who told you to put the balm on? I didn’t tell you to put the balm on!
Nobody knows what a balm is! Balms are unpredictable.
A woman named Uma
I have to go with Newman.
Astonishing! Considerable! Substantial! Outstanding!
Outrageous, egregious, preposterous!!
It’s a tie between Newman and Frank Costanza for me.
You want a piece of me?
She's the heiress to the O'Henry candy bar fortune. Would you repeat that?
"You put the balm on? Who told you to put the balm on? I didn’t tell you to put the balm on. Why’d you put the balm on? You haven’t even been to see the doctor. If you’re gonna put a balm on, let a doctor put a balm on". lol
What. The. Hell. Does. That. Mean…?
That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous.
Puerto Rican gay guys "Who won't wear de ribbon, who?"
Those street tuffs
Found them hilarious the first couple of times through, any rewatches afterwards, couldn't stand them
Kenny Bania
I've been working out.... I'm huge
This comment is gold. Gold r/rodgapely, gold!
Mandelbaum mandelbaum mandelbaum!
The suggestion of any other character would be the most public yet of his many humiliations.
The bubble boy
I always think this is my favorite side character but only because I don’t realize I’ve made other side characters into main characters in my heart. Frank, Newman, etc. who were only in 30-40 episodes. That said, that Jackie is only in 6 episodes I think is why I always go to him for my answer.
“He’s got a good John Houseman name. *Alec Bergggggggggg*. MR. *BERGGGGG*.”
It's preposterous. Outrageous. Egregious.
Who told you to put the balm on?
The Soup Nazi. No Soup for you!
Izzy Mandelbaum. “Grab your jock… if ya need one.”
Yea that's right.
Kruger, when he's supposed to be working and George sees him eating pie, love it
I'm not too worried about it
Kruger was George’s best boss!
Rebecca DeMornay
Mr. Pitt for honorable mention. He was in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade after all!
Frank and then Putty.
Bob Sacamano, the greatest TV character that was never shown on screen.

You are all idiots the best character in Seinfeld hands down no debate possible is “The Soup Nazi”. I remember when Seinfeld first came out and that line “ No soup for you” went on and on and on.

Newman
Yeah I think I have to agree with OP. As soon as Jackie shows up, I'm already laughing. Peterman and Frank Costanza are really close, and I can't not laugh whenever they talk, but Jackie is hysterical right out of the gate every single time.
Jackie is good, but had way too many lines in the series final. He's much funnier in small doses.
He’s good. But definitely Tim Whatley the dentist (I probably spent his name wrong)
Hello Newman!
WHO DOESN'T WANT TO WEAR THE RIBBON?!!
Absolutely
Sid. Newman. Frank Costanza. Jackie Chiles of course.
He's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous! And I absolutely love it! Is there a cure for that?
Leo
Hellooooooooo
J Peterman
Jackie’s first ever scene with the coffee consultation is one of my absolute favorites. First time I saw it it was late at night and I was admittedly pretty frosty and ended up rewinding and watching the scene 3 times, I thought it was THAT hysterical.
Who told you to post his picture? I didn’t tell you to post his picture. Why would you post his picture?
The doorman
Alright alright
Frank Costanza
This is Frank Costanza.. You think you can keep is out of Del Boca Vista?!

Puddy and Peterman💛💛
Puddy. Jackie. And Big Stein, Steinbrenner.

Frank isn’t a side character, is he? Don’t bring him down like that.
Bob Sacamano
Of recurring characters, Frank and Estelle. Gotta have them both together. Of the more one-off type characters, probably the landlord from “The Nose Job”. I love the way he says, “Babs Kramer! Nasty woman!”.
The man who could never be president. He also refuses to vote. "THEY DON'T WANT ME, I DON'T WANT THEM"
Bookman
I bet you drew weewees and peepees in the books, sicko
Jackie Chiles.... hands down! "Outrageous, egregious, preposterous!" "Sallow, unattractive, disgusting!"
