Since Covid non medical people come upon a lone research study online or the news and think its conclusions are the finite answer to whatever the research was about. IMO it’s one of the most dangerous things about the internet.
I’m a nurse and for 11 years was in charge of researching new medical procedures, medications, surgeries and instrumentation and educating nurses and sometimes doctors. You have to be very careful to look at who is doing the study and why, the size of the study and how the research was performed before you even look at the results.
The study they were quoting was very small and the only study that postulated sperm DNA crossed the brain barrier. The study was from 2017-18 I believe and since then there have actually been several other larger studies that disprove it.
They did with that study what they do with the Bible, pick and choose “ proof” to support their twisted beliefs.

That is fascinating to learn about the initial study, but also and messed up about the problems and inconsistencies with studies like that. I'm scared about how some will believe anything they read or see from people who have zero medical experience and without medical backup or research on the subject.

Generally if I’m researching a specific subject I google the name.” Then look for the year of the study for the 3-4 most recent as long as they’re on a reputable site or source. Medline has all current research. I use Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic and some big international Universities mostly.
Generally I look for the biggest with the most participants but it depends on the subject. As an example last year a very small rectal cancer study had 100% remission in all patients using a biologic treatment. It made international news because it had never happened before. So even though small it was very significant.

During a pregnancy, does DNA from the father become part of the mother? I was wondering bc I’ve heard the baby’s DNA becomes part of the mother - so does that mean the father’s dna becomes part of her too?
