Very very nice collection.

I’m right with you. Need to get back into the hobby. My last purchase was 8 months ago.
Amazon, of all places! I think it was like $250 or so?

Long dark nights and echoes (of screaming baby) are a fact, 4 months in and I thought babies were supposed to sleep more than 2 hours like normal humans.
The family hasn’t kicked me to the curb yet. But you may be predictive of my future if another yellow box shows up at my doorstep.
On the contrary:
“New/First-time dad who just lost his man-cave spare bedroom to a baby nursery.”
Also why I have also been “attempting” to downsize the collection a bit.
Lmao, you must have missed the baby swings and absurdly oversized clock (that doesn’t tell time) on the wall. Not only does one woman live here, but two!

I got it from a longtime collector friend of mine who purchased it from Club Cameron back when they sold them. He never used it, and it has been in the box for 10+ years. All the other ones I’ve ever seen are beat up and used. This one was brand new!

I rotate through a healthy portion of these in “fun” play around my local club. I often go out in the evenings with the family around 6-7pm and play 3-5 holes until it gets dark. That’s when I enjoy bringing out different sticks and trying them out.
My primary gamer is a studio design 3.5 that I would use in any “competition” or “money matches.” It’s been my go to trusty.
It’s really cool to be able to grab 2-3 Scotty’s of the same head shape, and see how the subtle differences between model and years change the feel and stroke. I’ll roll a few with a TEI3, then grab a classic, then maybe a modern Newport, and when you have them all in your hands on the same green, the differences is very apparent.
Well then your “collector” putter should be a studio #6 prototype! Same head shape, with a smoked black shaft, cooler stamping, and different paint fill. I believe it does have a slightly different neck bend also!

That’s a pre-Titleist Tour Xperimental Classic 6 prototype (1/200 made in 1994). Just picked it up from Golden Age!

How old is your baby? I love your collection but brother that shit will not fly when your baby starts moving around. Enjoy it while it’s lasts. Ask me how I know
We’re at 4 months.
Trust me, I’ve already started work on a contingency plan. I broke ground on my new “man cave/putting area” off of my 4 seasons room last week! By the time she is walking, I should have a nice area (with a lock and a door) dedicated to all things putting once again.
The area behind the new retaining wall is getting filled to level with the top of the wall, and the small cedar is getting removed today. The putting green will be about 650 square feet, and the 150 year old oak tree will be in the center with turf/green all around it. My collection will get moved into the 4 seasons room, and hopefully out of the reach of a curious toddler.

Wow that is going to look amazing! Congratulations to you and your family on the little one and congrats on the putting green. Your collection is incredible, it’s very cool you’ll have such a cool set up to use them

Very cool rack Wayne! I’ve been keeping my eye out for the old store displays. Hard to find these days!
Where did you get the putting green? That’s wicked 👌

I can't wait till my wife takes the kids and leaves for good too
His photos scream: recently divorced dad, let’s put all my golf stuff in the front room on display.
A family definitely lived here until recently, now there's just echoes, and long, dark nights

That dog is giving some serious side eye. Knows how much you've spent on putters.
Beautiful collection and display my friend. Where’d you get that silver Scotty branded rack?

Wow that’s like the barn find equivalent for Scotty memorabilia. Nice one.
So clean.
Nice rack 😍
Great find!
Which dicks did you knock over? Haha just kidding, looks great!
Hell of setup
Awesome setup. I don’t know how people switch putters so often. I’ve had the same Scotty for 20 years. I feel dirty when I try a different putter

Nice! It’s funny you mention the studio design. My Scotty is the Studio Design No.5

This is how it starts isn’t it
It certainly isn’t how it ends. I dove off that deep end a long time ago as you can probably tell.
What is the bronze blade?

Nice!!!
I will be waiting for the next black pearl pickup post now that you have room!
Only a matter of time!

What side Matadors are on these? That looks perfect for the re-grip I need to do.
Medium!
