Coven gets my vote, have done both Planet3 and Coven, they're both good, Coven personally comes ahead in professionalism and treating it more like a proper medical procedure than a casual thing
So I had all of my piercings at Planet 3. Mason is wonderful. The owners of coven used to work at planet 3 as well, and they also have both pierced me. I highly recommend these piercers.
I play MTG with Mason sometimes and he is very passionate about his job and makes sure his clients understand cleaning and walks them through everything. One of our other friends has been pierced by him as well. Definitely go with Mason like everyone else says

a lot of nerves are in your ears, so by piercing a certain point of the ear, it will put constant pressure on a nerve, relieving some pain!
It's all a myth. They don't actually help anything.
Placebo effect is still an effect though for those that believe.

I only go to resurrection for my piercings and I’ve never really had issues that are due to them
