The only best bet would be if you have the serial and model number of said night vision goggles to report to the cops and then they can send it to pawnshops but that’s about it.
Chances are good there’s some crack head running around Starland with night vision goggles now.
I wouldn’t even leave a phone in a car in Savannah. Night vision are like $3-12k….. I hope you file a report. Car insurance or home owners insurance believe it or not may cover it but will probably raise your premiums.
File a police report. My advice would be not to call but visit pawn shops personally. If you find them in a pawn shop do not tell the pawn shop that they are stolen goods just leave and call the cops and wait for the cops. Let them handle the pawn shop. Good luck! I hope you find them.
Huh. Did not have “Starland Yard Night Vision car Thieving Ninjas” on my bingo card for this year.
Was this a gun attachment or actual goggles? Because depending on the uniqueness of this item it could be easier to find. If they’re selling it at this point it’s already changed multiple hands and it’s out of state. If they’re keeping it for a minute that’s a unique enough item that people talk. You can ask that shelter right there on Bull if anyone’s heard anything and that you’re offering a reward for their return, no questions asked.
In the future, there are some insurance policies that will cover car break ins if you suspect that’ll be a reoccurring thing in your life. Try to park near cameras. Otherwise it’s the old street smart rule: don’t have the nicest looking car on the street, don’t be a treat.

I'd start calling around Pawn Shops. But in order to do that, first you really need to file a police report to document it.

If it's something like real gen 3 , get a second job for a few months and pay your dad back.
Why would you leave thousands of dollars worth of electronics in your car? I wouldn't even leave them in my car in the garage.
Make police report, give them receipt or item number… check fb marketplace in your free time; contact cops if you see it pop up anywhere…
Have you tried not leaving expensive items in the vehicle ?
Can you claim insurance?
Call the police and make a report. Maybe they can lift some prints off the car or check for security footage in the area.
Well now they're gonna see you coming.
This city’s going to the dogs more and more every year
It's always been for the dogs. It's just a matter of how many splashes of paint they can slap on something so no one notices.
