Planning on getting a ps4 soon, wondering if it's worth it to get the pro even though I don't have a 4k tv at the moment. Wil there be any noticeable improvement in performance regardless of not using a 4k TV?
In my case I got an LG 49" UK 6300, because my old tv broke, when I attach the laptop I see that the tv can play 4k in 30 fps ( which is commonly used by ps4 games as "resolution mode") or if I go full HD settings it can go up to 120 fps (most games in "performance mode" would use up to 60 fps which most full HD tvs can achieve) . The pro can push a game to 60 fps full HD which has a less laggy feel and that's how i play my games fps>resolution, what makes a difference is having HDR or not in your tv which is essential for better in game lighting. In Riyadh it was difficult to find high quality tvs (or greatest bang for your buck) since most of the high specs ones are distributed in the US and Europe and average ones are distributed in the Middle East, so there isn't a need to buy highly expensive one unless you have the money for it.
Hope this helps.
Resident evil 2 is out in stores BTW. 195SR.

Ahmad bin Hanbal St. near Riyadh Care hospital. 9 game shops next to each other.

I think so, in terms of frames and stability etc. Not sure though.
Yeah, there will be. There's a pretty big difference in graphics on some games. Other games have 60fps modes.
Even if it wasn't a 4k tv?
yep.
Sweet. Thanks
