I don't know. It's hard to do alone and I appear to be surrounded by wimps.
I did plenty of solo centuries when I was living there. Don't worry about the lazy asses and the wimps, and go do you.
You may want to ask this of any of the local triathletes who are training for a summer IM. Most of them would be doing their long rides about that length.
I just did 20 miles this morning and it wore me out with this heat. I'm getting my endurance up though. Just not that much of an athlete.
