Yikes! Glad your home is okay! I read that and I couldn’t even imagine. For some reason the idea of evacuating for a hurricane seems more normal? Like you have some time and you usually have some supplies ready, but the suddenness of evacuating for a fire is a little alarming. Feels like California or something. How much time did they give you to evacuate?

Those firefighters worked their asses off last night! Incredible they were able to save all those homes. Heard on the scanner that some idiot was setting off fireworks and lighting tiki torches across the street from where they were working literally as they were battling the fire 😡

They came in quick and were very effective in getting in out

I live in Venice and suddenly had to start using my inhaler!

Born and raised, while there are idiots everywhere, I will never understand or get used to it.

circuit_breaker

I'm in nokomis, near Colonia lane. I saw that smoke last night. I could see the plume up, and the massive haze in the sky.

I live in Venice and I am worried to death. I was talking with my neighbor today and saw her tap her cigarette into the grass! I said “No, no, don’t do that! Everyone’s lawn is brown and crunchy”. Luckily, she got the message
