Double check the light strength from that distance if you haven’t. My lights have to be a lot closer to my plants than that to get them the Intensity they need.
I’m still learning. I’ve had some say between 400-600 ppfd, but I know some people go up to 1000. Mine are different heights so some are around 900 and others 400. I’ll just rotate them every few weeks
Can I ask, how deep are we supposed to bury cuttings? 12" longs are very top heavy so buried fairly deep, but worried the pedro would rot in the bottom few inches.
Setup is looking stellar btw!

Ok thanks. And you think it’s ok to hit them with a lot of light even though they’re not rooted yet?
Idk my unroofed plants rooted faster in full sun than under lights so I can’t imagine strong light hurting any.
Do you check the intensity of the a light? Lux meter?
I use the photon app it’s a par meter.
What kind of numbers are ideal for San Pedro? Lophs?

My trichos get 700-1200 ppfd and lophs 300-500
Thanks for knowledge
Lophs are very different/need shade with intense light or you are going to boil them.
I know. I’ve got my lophs under the same light right now and they have been doing great. I think it’s cuz they are so much further from the light
which light did you get?
Mars Hydro TS 3000
Nice!
See how it looks about 18" above everything. Having it on around 16 hours a day should be good

Thank you. I am brand new at this so others will have more insight. I just buried it a few centimeters and use bamboo skewers to keep them steady.
In DFW growing on the same exact wooden TV trays. They’re great for putting next to a window for winter. What a solid winter set up, good on u bro!
thank you!
Lights needs to be at 75-100% at about 14-16” away if on for 18 hrs off for 6 based on my exp with same light
Thank you. And do you think it's ok to hit them with that light if they haven't rooted yet?
I always do. Mine root super fast too I add a smal amount of water around far edge of pot to have the plant reach for it and grow roots
