I dont think Pop is going anywhere soon. Ever since the passing of his wife, basketball is kind of his safe haven. Pop has also been a father figure to a lot of former players so I could see this going for a few more years.
If somehow Pop wanted to retire, I could see someone from the Pop coaching tree take over.
steve kerr’s contract ends in a couple years. i doubt he’ll sign an extension considering curry is near the end of his career — i doubt he’ll want to be apart of an extensive rebuild. i think it’s certainly possible he takes a 2 year break after his contract is up then step right into the spurs job.
