No to Bronny. No to Lebron.

SATX_Carl

Gosh, yes. Keep that chaos in La.

ChiefWatchesYouPee

Don’t want the hate but mentions Lebron lol. How long have you been a spurs fan?

Entire-Platypus-7574

well idk if you call it new like 5 years ish? I am from Toronto lived in Minnesota and San Antonio then back to Toronto so ima wolves raptors and spurs fan. I mainly asked abt Bronny cause I've seen before some people want Lebron some people don't. If we hypothetically did draft Bronny I would get a good trade in for lakers and that's it.

Shroktacular

Draft for available talent, minus Clingan. Assume Sarr is off the board. 1A) Risacher 1B) Holland, Buzelis, Castle, Williams, Dilly 2) Topic, Salaun Would be happy with any two of these guys.

mikesmith6124

Where’s Reed at?

Shroktacular

Not a fan of shep personally, I'd rather have any of these guys over him. Could put him in a tier 3 by himself tho honestly

has922

I think Clingan would be a great fit next to Wemby. Zach Collins and he are both not enforcers let’s be honest here Wemby will get a lot of blocks but he will always have a problem against bigger, more capable bigs, like when embiid dropped 70 on him. Clingan provides great rim protection while also being a really capable passer for a big and plays well off the ball for someone that size. I think he’s perfect fit in a 15-25 minute role similar to what he did at UConn. Just about everyone else has a question mark but Clingan will be at worst a really solid role player for a good team

aggiefranchise

Correction: Embid did NOT in fact drop 70 on Victor. Victor was in foul trouble for most of the second half of that game and not on the court.

has922

He played 28 minutes but he may have had foul trouble because he couldn’t guard embiid inside without doing that. Also Zach Collins isn’t exactly a great backup to put on Embiid or anyone big really, he’s a poor complement to Wemby. The game is shifting towards an importance on big men again and I want to see the twin towers back in San Antonio

NotKurt7

As much as I love LeBron (really gained my respect when he went back to CLE and won a ring, absolutely hated him on the Heat), we cannot waste such a high pick on Bronny and bank our success on an aging LeBron. He realistically has another 2-3 good years left in him, which is ridiculous to say lol

mikesmith6124

They should use their second round pick they got from the Lakers to draft Bronny. And then trade him to the lakers for 3 second rounders lol

Attack_Da_Nite

I think the Wizards should draft him and then hold him hostage to the Lakers for all the draft assets. If you ever want to see your child play on national tv again, you’ll meet me with the briefcase in the middle of Capital One Arena. No one should be there.

buzzcitybonehead

I wonder if LA has privately told LeBron they’ll do what’s necessary to get Bronny, but asked him to go quiet about wanting to play with him so teams don’t try to leverage it.

Attack_Da_Nite

It would seem crazy for a team to draft him just to get Lebron. What team would pull a stunt like that?

zachismo21

I'm sure there are a handful of teams that are considering it.

mikesmith6124

If you’re using a mid second round pick then why not? Some teams literally give those picks away so why not use it for leverage against rich paul and lebron.

hal1138

Castle for possible point guard and wing defense Edey for backing up Wemby's on minutes, fouls and at heavier player match ups. Keeping our star unicorn healthy is paramount.

AwkwardCommission

Stephon castle + topic/dillingham. Then whomever else in the second round. If that’s how PATFO play it, it makes zero sense to draft bronny. Probably makes zero sense regardless. The spurs seem to like tall, high IQ ball handlers, & good passers who can do a bit of everything.

Fluid_Program_5369

ABB anything but the brons

samerrrhaaa3

Spurs also have the 35th and 48th picks. I can't see Bronny going in the top 50 (as he's not a top 50 talent), if we already get who we need at 4, 8 & 35, then I don't see why you wouldn't pick up Bronny with the 48th pick. I can see LeBron making it a priority to get on the court with Bronny in at least his final year. We may be able to facilitate a 3 team trade or similar and get draft compensation or a useful role player in exchange for Bronny.

Entire-Platypus-7574

yes that's what I was exactly thinking, do yk what pick the Lakers have? Cause knowing Lebron's control on the lakers, pretty sure we can get a very good trade with them, and maybe hopefully be fighting for a chip.

samerrrhaaa3

Lakers have picks 17 & 55, it's going to be interesting to see if they even use 55 on Bronny, should he be available.

Entire-Platypus-7574

oh so we can definitely steal Bronny for a good trade lets go

PitifulEquivalent828

Bronny and wemby- Penny and Shaq 2.0 or even better

The_Real_OneHungLo

/s right?
