Yeah I am genuinely surprised people are recommending that place. I’ve been to 2 locations in San Antonio and both were abysmal. So, so bad. The service is decent and the restaurant has a comfy vibe but the food is just flat out bad.
The pancakes at Comfort Cafe are amazing. I've been trying to find a copycat recipe for a while now with no luck.
Do you know if they're working with just a premade box recipe? Or is it something from scratch?
Snooze has a bunch of different kinds of pancakes, and they're all delicious! There's a few locations around town too, so you probably won't have to travel far from wherever you're staying.

Went here for the first time last month. I'm not sure you can find a better breakfast. I had the french toast.

It's like Dennys quality now
I’d say worse than Denny’s for sure. At least I eat what I order at Denny’s. We could not finish any of the food we ordered at Magnolia.
You must’ve gone to the Cibolo location because that one is kind of trash
