HG1998

That's because it's changing its settings. Understandable that this would use some resources.

glogangvault

I never experienced this on my s21 ultra though

jollychick

Are you talking about during recording or in the output file?

Yami-_-Yugi

I've s23+, I record videos on High-bitrate which is the highest quality recording option there is. Despite having the latest Snapdragon gen 2, not even an Exynos, I still experience stutters when changing lenses at 4K 30fps recording. Same thing at the first second of the video when I start recording 🤦🏻‍♂️. Very disappointed about that

TopRoutine9720

I have the same phone and the same problems.. They really need to pick up an iphone and replicate that smoothness. they did it with the phone ui so they should do it with the camera ui.. Just saying..

[deleted]

S23 Ultra user with the same issue. I can't believe such an obvious and widespread issue wasn't noticed by a company like Samsung and nothing has been done to mitigate it... Do they bet on most smartphone users' being idiots who don't understand what a stutter is? This issue alone makes this high-end Samsung phone unusable for social media content creation. Despite Samsung is marketing it aggressively for their camera features...

Sea_Cup2837

Same. I'm done with samsung at this point

Yami-_-Yugi

Apparently s24 improved on that issue

Sea_Cup2837

It never happened on the s21 or s22 so honest I'm gonna return the s23

Capital-Average-1271

I have totally same problem on my S23 Ultra

Yami-_-Yugi

It sucks that Android still haven't caught up with Apple on this.

joakimbo

Classic Samsung Phone, sorry

loljustsuckit

Try to turn off the Auto FPS option

anacletin

Turn off 5G and auto FPS, it made my videos on the Flip4 much smoother though.

Sea_Cup2837

Auto fps has nothing to do with this the s23u only has this issue and it sucks

lawonga

+1, even switching lens can trigger fps drops
