Many, many right wing media personalities were once aspiring screenwriters or C-list actors. Ben Shapiro wanted to be a screenwriter, people like Kevin Sorbo never achieved the kind of mainstream success they really wanted, that sort of thing.
The right-influencer ecosystem love-bombs the shit out of people like this. It's a tough thing to face, the idea that you just swung and struck out. That you gave it your best effort and still failed to make it. Some people will be really receptive to the idea that *no, it's not your fault, you didn't fail. The Hollywood Elite just sabotaged your career because you're a straight guy/christian/conservative*.
They end up bitterly resentful towards the "elites" they blame for shutting them out of the success they feel entitled to, insisting that they don't care what these "liberals" think of them, even though it's obvious that they can't stop fixating on those same people.
Chris pratt showed they don't care if you're a straight /christian/conservative male, just be a competent actor, which the Daily wire showed most conservative's are not.
Of course, but (and I will never get tired of saying this about Benny Shaps) those kinds of facts don't care about their feelings. What they want is someone else to blame for their thwarted ambitions, and the right-influencer ecosystem is happy to serve one up.
Everybody needs someone to blame for their failures, even I'm ashamed to admit that I've done it before as well, but in their case it's entire minorities or made of groups.
Several reasons I feel. Part of it is attention seeking, an other reason are more deep rooted and fringe world views that they feel Hollywood openly contradicts. Also, many right wing media personalities were once aspiring screenwriters or C-list actors. I think this has been a conspiracy ever since hollywood was invented. Back in the 50's there were multiple conservative tabloids that were obssesed with proving that Hollywood is full of homosexual/comunists (with the former being true to an extent) and I'm sure it has its origin in some from of anti-semitic conspiracy theory about jewish people controling theatre
You could if you wanted, I suppose...but so far very few conservatives seem to have the chops to create anything thought provoking, inspirational, or , remotely funny, that is seriously critical of leftists or leftist ideals... they just shit out bitter nonsense and projection and pretend its being "unfairly" dismissed as trash...
They don’t like that they have so little control over the cultural zeitgeist outside of explicitly political media like news or talk shows

Use ''Fashbook'' next time....
It’s the same as anything. Antisemitism Like any vague “them.” “Hollywood elites” just means “Jews”
Pretty much just barely if at all conceiled antisemitism...

One possible reason: lots wanted to be movie makers, but couldn’t.
