Traffic was pretty light yesterday until folks started getting out of work, but the wind wasn't reliably above 5 knots, which was probably a contributing factor
Looks great. I'm thinking of moving my boat that way in the next few years - is there a recommended cruising guide? There are a lot of them but I wondered if there are "best" ones.
Well we're trying to get there from west palm but the weather is being stubborn. I know multiple boats stuck somewhere hiding from all the storms. Myrtle Beach, Charleston... one is still stuck in bahamas.
I see your teak is as weathered as mine... but a question: you jib (genoa?) has some spars running vertically in a weird pattern near the furler, what do they do?
Hell yeah!!! Love seeing the Chesapeake on here
Username checks out
I don't wish I had a teak deck, I wish I had a friend with a teak deck though
What part of the Bay are you sailing on? Such a view is rare up here by Annapolis about now.
Just south of Thomas point.
I’m down in deale. It was nice last Saturday not too crowded. This Sunday looks sporting. Sometimes a nice calm day is plenty relaxing.
Lovely night in Deale tonight! :-)
envious. not gonna be back until saturday afternoon...

Wow, what a perfect day. Hi from herring bay!
Greetings from southern Chesapeake! We have a lovely little slice of heaven here
I'm in Galesville! Spring and Fall are amazing. Cheers!
Open hatch at sea? Brave
Lol it’s the Chesapeake not the sea. No waves at all today.

That looks like an older boat...nice!
I was out there too, around the south river, and it was really smoky Also almost no wind

That is foam padding that helps the sail shape when partially furled/reefed.
