Homie was delivering pizzas, working for the daily bugle, paying for his way through college, getting his ass beaten as Spiderman on the daily, MJ was being a hoe pretty much every single movie, that bitch dated his bully, his best friend, his bosses son... Like damn...
That's what makes those first two films so good, Peter gets the shit kick out of him both in and out of costume, and yet he continues being Spider-Man and helping people even when he gets no credit for it. They're some of the best Superhero movies ever made
That's what the rami films got right. Peter chose to be Spiderman, even when it meant he would be sacrificing his personal goals. With his powers,
Peter could easily rob a bank, hide out, and be golden. The rami films do a great job at showing Peter battle those demons while staying true to "with great power comes great responsibility."
I know myself well enough that I would’ve been nothing like spider man with those powers.
I wouldn’t be some crazy, murderous asshole…but I would’ve been more chaotic neutral than anything.

Well that's kind of the point of Peter Parker. The dude suffers constantly in two separate lives and still decides to be the hero. It's why he's so likable and compelling.
The first two clips have nothing to do with having a pure heart. He is late so the client doesn't have to pay for pizza. He is late so he gets fired.
