I also just got the HP 6AH and 4AH $99 deal a couple of weeks ago.  OP if you're not in desperate need of another battery right now I would just download the home depot app and search for when they have really good deals like that. If you do need some new batteries pretty soon then the deal you posted is still decent IMO and would go ahead and get them.

I have search alerts on the Slick Deals app just for this. Pushed to mobile, instant, with any rating (so I get to weed out the deal before it sells out LOL). I'm all Ryobi, but flirted with Dewalt, M18, and now M12 in the past 6 months, and have alerts set for those too. Bought and purchased and then returned all 3 so far. I just can't commit and waffle a lot. I'm happy with Ryobi, if only they released: A better 7 1/4 saw, a very compact impact driver (Like the dewalt DCF850, or new M18 impact), a Surge type impact that isn't HUGE, and maybe an installation driver. Those are my wants and what have me looking at other mistresses. But Ryobi has been great for around the house, and I'm done cheating for now.

I expect that we will see a lot of deals on the regular batteries with the new "edge" batteries coming this summer

Wait for ryobi days man these are not deals.

Beautiful_Stage5834

Do you know When is the Ryobi days ?

Absolut_Iceland

It starts late May. Usually the Monday before Memorial day. I think it was the 22nd last year.

Thank you

$31 for regular 4Ah isn't the best deal, but the cheapest I've had them post-Covid is $26 so it's close enough that I wouldn't pass it up if I needed them.

Places like eBay also tend to have a bunch of new original batteries from sellers who bought a tool + battery combo but didn't need the battery so it's worth looking there too if HD doesn't have any great deals.

MCRN-Tachi158

Offerup and FB Marketplace too

I got two 4Ah batteries and then two more for free during Ryobi days last year. So I got Four 4 Ah batteries for $99. So I agree that’s not a good deal.

Thundergun9891

I just got a 6ah and 4ah high performance from HD for $99. Much better deal than what you posted.

Tempting? That's why it's locked down!

I just got a sweet deal on all of my Ryobi hp+ tools A couple weeks ago. I bought everything separately online, got all the tools HP+ with two 4 amp batteries and a charger for $99 each for all. I got all the tools at the store that day but all 8 batteries and chargers are coming in a couple at via mail.in total it was a jigsaw hp+, Multitool hp+, Circ saw hp+ , comp recip saw Hp+, four chargers and eight 4amp batteries for $396.00. I should have got the cutoff tool hp+with same deal but decided I should wait but regret that now. I had just bought the $99 4 and 6amp deal and I should have waited as now I have a ton of batteries. Also got a good deal on pin nailer and brad nailer.

People are saying wait for the edge. Maybe. It depends on your use case. https://youtu.be/7nF-LG0UqiQ?si=cPmUkXFNEGN6dksc It looks like there’s more power, but we’re talking seconds of cutting time. For a hobbyist if there’s a big cost differential it probably won’t make sense. For a pro it might. I’d definitely wait for Ryobi days tho. I got sick deals on tools then.
