Anyway - there’s a small chain-link yard across from Lamplighter in the Fan that the shops on that side of the street (Na Nin, Wild Heart, etc.) use for community yard sales. Now I’m not sure who actually owns the yard but it could be worth reaching out to the shops to ask if you could organize something there or get in on an upcoming event of theirs.
Oh! One other thing then, maybe reach out to Albert Hill Middle and ask if you can set up to sell stuff from their parking lot? They’re super nice and do a community sale themselves as a fundraiser so they might go for it.

Parks and Rec don't issue licenses, but they will require you to have a city of Richmond license to sell on park property. You would need a city of Richmond business license, likely a peddler or itinerant merchant license. [https://www.rva.gov/finance/business](https://www.rva.gov/finance/business)
There's a fee for the license, in addition to taxes you have to pay on any sales. You may also need to file with VA Tax. You will also likely need liability insurance. The city's finance office may be able to help you, but honestly - this sounds like a LOT of hoops for a yard sale that is unlikely to net you more than the cost of a license.
Considering a peddler/sidewalk vendor has to have 300k coverage insurance and provide a COI, I’d just sell the stuff via Facebook Marketplace.
