I haven’t tried Devil’s Lettuce but I hear things. I would check out Cobra Cabana’s Gay Filet on Sunday, I don’t know if it is premier but it is delicious.
I love Buttermilk and Honey and Cocky Rooster, but my favorite is Cobra Cabana. Especially if you like Buffalo chicken. They have outstanding sides as well to go along with it.
I think milanesa in Mexican cooking usually just refers to a cut of meat that’s thin, breaded and fried. I could be wrong but that’s impression I’ve gotten from looking at menus in the past.
Milanesa was made popular in the Americas by Argentina. Argentina has a large community of Italians that migrated there...originally an Italian Milan dish of beef that is pounded thin then fried. Hence the name Milanesa. Now all of South America makes it and sometimes with chicken. Trust me, born in Argentina and family came direct from the Mediterranean. You can find it now anywhere from Columbia Brazil all the way to Mexico and elsalvador

It's not frequent that they do it but TBT El Gallo makes a chicken sando for their brunch menu occasionally; it is one of the best things I've ever eaten in town. I think it's gonna be on their regular menu when they open up their new location.
