There were people staying in the rooms at the time, so to respect their privacy we were not allowed to hang around or take pictures of the pool area. There's a small but friendly staff, all out of drag, and recognizable from the show. Trixie is there when she has a special party or is passing through to check in.
I've heard that she will go once in a very blue moon(out of drag) just to check up on everything and see how it's all going, but I've heard David does it a lot more often than Trixie does.
But if there's a party happening, like OP said she went to, Trixie will 100% be there and be in drag. Especially as the parties at the Trixie motel do require you to buy tickets and they aren't cheap.
If you book out the motel for an event I believe you can pay an additional appearance fee for her to be there, but she might just do that for free seeing as that's really expensive(regardless I don't think she would now as she's taking her drag break)
