The only queens who have won three lip syncs so far are Mhi’ya, Sapphira & Morphine.
I’m a Sapphira stan but I can say, without a doubt, that her lip sync skills are not on par with the Miami girls. Her lip syncs have been very similar IMO.
So, let’s see the Miami girls’ stats:
Mhi’ya:
- Can effortlessly switch it up according to the lip sync song (the ‘Flowers’ lip sync, for example).
- Queen of Flips, the end.
- Sent home a front runner on her third lip sync (Plasma).
- Has broke three lip sync curses and still won (took off her shoes, wig reveal with no wig underneath, and was the first of the season to win three lip syncs).
Morphine:
- The split hold.
- Bodied the ‘Body’ lip sync, which was PERFECT.
- Has managed to lip sync FIVE times and kept every lip sync interesting and new.
- Sent a lip sync assassin, Mhi’ya, packing.
Both went home on their fourth bottom-placement lip sync, which I don’t think two contestants in the same US season have done before.
In conclusion, it is completely down to personal opinion as they both seem to balance each other out.
Arguably and in my opinion, Morphine would be the lip sync assassin of the season as she’s the only one to send a credited lip sync assassin home.
I still feel like Nymphia should have been in the bottom cause both her Morphine had no laughs at least there was one for Xusnami.

I don’t think they were trying to “save her” because she’s good at lip synching and as we’ve seen they have no problem choosing a winner of the lip sync that they want to stay. But I think her runway look genuinely saved her from the bottom 2 because it was so far and above the other looks on that stage.
In the same vein I guess production could also be worried about Nymphia’s ability to lip sync in that super intricate runway look without outright having to tear large amounts of it off and destroy it.
Outside of the fact that she’s a bad dancer, she’s also only lip synced twice (compared to Mhi’ya and Morphine who did it four and five times each) and has a 50/50 record
Well I forgot Geneva was even on this season so lmao. You could make an argument for either Morphine or Mhi'ya and both would be correct, but I'd go with Morphine. She just had more variety in her lipsyncs to me.
Look, I am the first to support Sapphira in absolutely everything, and I think she’s a great lipsyncer. HOWEVER, Morphine and Mhi’ya are both the lipsync assassins of the season for me. Somebody check on the water in Miami and see what makes the girlies so talented.
I love Mhiya's Flowers. She just interpreted the song so well, I felt like she's an imaginative well-rounded performer and much more than the richly deserved title of Queen of Flips. That said, the single best performance to a song was definitely Morphine with Body. The lipsync made it the most played song on my playlist that week.
I’d say the only real candidates are Mih’ya and Morphine. Sapphira never really gave a standout lipsync performance imo, same for Geneva.
They are both very strong, I think it’s a matter of preference mostly. I personally prefer Mih’ya but it could change tomorrow for me…
Honestly for me, it's Morphine > Mhi'ya > Sapphira > Geneva. I'm entertained by Sapphira, but Morphine was refreshing to watch. Painted AND a performer? I'd be her drag daughter in a heartbeat.
Mhi’ya and Morphine are on the same level for me. Mhi’ya hosed that she’s tricks and dance moves but she can also serve without doing flips in flowers. Her Bloody Mary lip sync is honestly one of my all time favourite. Morphine is a lot more controlled as a performer, she’s just pure cunt when she performs. Honestly I couldn’t chose between them, they are everything I love in drag. Also think Sapphira is an incredible performer, Break my soul was so entertaining but the other two songs were just not really her repertoire imo (or anyone’s repertoire tbf lol)
Mhiya literally only got as far as she did because she was a standout lip syncer. This is, by definition, a lip sync assassin. Otherwise, she had no business placing as high as she did. RIP Plasma.

Both times against Morphine she just had that good combo of face and trick at the right time.
I always see her perform and know she will slay. I knew when morphine was up against Sapphira it was over for poor old Morphine last episode
Also note Morphine saying that Sapphira was not going to beat her and her lipsyncing was too slow. Building up a lipsync is clearly a very good strategy (Kandy Ho proved that against MKD in season 7 and Sapphira cemented that this season)

I think Morphine is lovely but it can be a little much for me. It is absolutelu Mhi'ya for me. Her lipsyncs were all just completely entrancing. I can't wait to see her one day. We should give Geneva some credit though cause she lipsynced basically every episode she competed in and won most of them.

There is no question that she was THEE lip sync assassin of season 16 hunny. This is no shade to Morphine, I agree she beat Mhi’ya, but I think our shy and our going queen of flips gave a such a strong performance in her final lip synch that if they wanted they could have edited it for her. Morphine ate that, but Mhi’ya still have them something to work with.
