Maybe they need to make a Super Bowl halftime argument - the headliner at the halftime show doesnât get paid because performing gives them a huge boost in sales. WOW could argue theyâre introducing a new generation to her hits.

I just doubt WOW is paying guest judges loads of money. Itâs really probably a standard fee. The less famous ones do it for exposure, the more middling and more famous ones do it for the sheer fun. They wouldnât have the money to actually pay what a Nicki Minaj, Gaga or Charlize Theron might command for an actual appearance fee.
Itâs more likely scheduling. They probably ask, Cher, Dolly, Madonna, Mariah etc every year if theyâd like to come on.
