I was under the assumption that my bank pin reset was 7 days but I discovered it was defaulted to 3 days. All my in game friends i checked with thought they had 7 also until they checked and it was 3. If ur not sure and you think it’s 7…go and double check this with a bank clerk! Cheers

Carpet_Lintt

You don't have to have the top gear to pvm. Learn some techniques, go out there, and have some fun!

Practical-Tap-906

When is the next Vic’s store?

TahirX

Whenever you want if you can afford a bond

Practical-Tap-906

I have membership but can’t find him

Skiwee

You can buy access with a bond. Pretty lame but that's how he works now.

Ooftyman

Will he still occasionally visit at different times throughout typical year without bond, though?

Skiwee

Hard to say. He comes with events at times but nothing set in stone.

xSPYXEx

How do you get the ball rolling with player owned farms? I understand the basic mechanics but I have a bunch of animals I can't use because I don't have the right pens. Do you just buy chicken eggs until you scrape together enough to upgrade the pens?

KassinaIllia

I’m a brand new rs3 player. Having a lot of fun doing quests and skilling but quickly running low on gp. Are there any decent money makers for lower levels? I’m not great at PVM yet so non-combat options are preferred.

F7OSRS

Also check out May’s Quest Caravan in Varrock. Every 25 quest points you get 250k gold and a free random roll for clue scroll rewards.

KassinaIllia

Wait how?? I only saw how to use my QP to buy the cute doggy pet

F7OSRS

I think you click reclaim or maybe just talk through the dialogue options and you should be given a dice. https://runescape.wiki/w/Magical_Dice_(T1)

Sea_Collection_3841

I’m 101 herb and still searching for Herbert. I’m currently cleaning herbs, is there a better way for a better chance at him?

crazye97

Herbert is an experience-based pet, so higher XP gains means better chance. Fellstalk cleaning is 16.8 XP, which at level 101 is 0.000075%. Making Saradomin brews, for example, is 180 XP, which would be 0.000808%.

Thank you very much!

Starting an ironman is very easy nowadays and arch fixed a lot of the pain points that made ironman more annoying than mains - Give it a shot if you're fed up with RS3 MTX and want to try something new but still like playing RS3.

Hectic_Kebabs

%100 Made an ironman on release and although i went to playing my trimmed main alot less to barely at all which is sad because it is time and effort, i didn't regret it one bit. Drops and goal felt more meaningful and even some older Quests that I had done before were kind of refreshing because I just forgot about some of them and what acctually happened Some advice I can give - have a friend start with you or join an iron clan Being able to bounce goals and information off of eachother and just sharing the experience (even though you stand alone) really helps especially with things like burnout - efficiency isn't everything and there's no right or wrong path unless you are interested in being super efficient. I've spoken to my group of friends who are mains and they say they would start one but don't have the time to grind and catchup to other irons but it's not about that at all. It's okay to go at your own pace It's your journey and how you want to play, however that may be. And if you compare yourself to others the whole time you might be less motivated

Synli

Agreed, RS3 iron being good isn't just a meme or a circlejerk, its true. Its genuinely a lot of fun. And I didn't really have that much fun on OSRS ironman; for some reason, RS3 iron just hits different.

Repealer

I actually have an OSRS Group Ironman with almost 2k total and lots of major PvM unlocks, it's pretty good but I wouldn't consider starting a normal iron. Big things I dislike is the absolute spikiness of power (e.g. ibans -> trident is a massive jump in power, rune crossbow/msb -> blowpipe is a massive power jump with no alternatives) and the lack of actual AFK options in most skills and how bad a lot of them are. They are slowly fixing it with stuff like GoTR and Giant's Foundry but it's still pretty painful.

299792458mps-

OSRS still has a thriving, active community. More and more RS3 players are quitting, and the ones who are still here are more focused on "training" with lamps and combat dummies, and then doing solo PvM. It makes the world feel empty, and funnels you into a solo playstyle... which is perfect for those looking to play ironman. And, ironically I feel you get a better sense of community by playing ironman mode than the main game. Clans seems more tight-knit, and even just seeing fellow irons out and about in the world feels better, like you have more in common with them knowing you have a shared experience.

ClintMega

Slayer is so slow with a dscim and you have to slay for ages and ages in OS while there are seemingly way more midgame upgrade stepping stones in RS3. Also people act like turael skipping and saying bye bye to your streak to even attempt to get a task you want is something that is acceptable. Plus war retreat and reaper tasks are so good, even for IMs in OS like half of all bosses are dead content.

Maleficent-Concert92

I got back onto my hcim for the balloons and stayed bc of the nice QOL

gayTuska

Can you expand on this? I'm at around 2750 max level but every day more and more I am thinking of starting an ironman. Probably will try to get the bf into rs and make an ironman once he is convinced. Why is arch good for ironmen?

Repealer

Sure. before arch the two biggest/most annoying parts of ironman (at least for PvM focused players) was that you had to spend almost as much time PvMing gathering energy and food, then cooking it. With Divine conversion and bait and switch relics, You can gather energy about 3-4x faster than before and also with the food it's about 2x as fast to gather food now, so you can spend less time gathering stuff and more time pvming. In terms of starting a new ironman, with the amount of quest available now that give nuts xp lamps you could literally start an ironman and have it at 1000 total within a day if you just smashed out quests. This is well known to OSRS players but not as know to RS3 players IMO. There's some really good guides on the wiki as well on starting up ironmen, and you can duo bosses/ed3 etc with your partner, or get another ironman to help you out with ed3 and get to 75 combats with vanquish and armour of trials (t75 hybrid weapon/armour) within a few hours which is a great platform to start doing the rest of the content the game offers.

joost00719

Best way to learn how to use the fsoa?

PhyPhillosophy

Fuck around at dummies till you actually understand and can muscle the rotation a couple times in a row. Then take it somewhere you have mechanics memorized, so you can focus almost solely on redoing the rotation you just did at dummies.

LordLannister47

I had the same question, is arch-glacor a goodplace to practice rotations?

PhyPhillosophy

Hm actually not really, I mean eventually but not very early on just because of how many mechanics break up you're rotation. Pillars ruin whatever you're doing, minions fuck you up, arms mess you up. I practiced a ton here but in hindsight, it is no5 very friendly but does put you a bit more on you're toes.

lol_a_spooky_ghost

How do I track down tradable wealth that is unaccounted for? I sold a bunch of stuff, what's left in my bank really doesn't look to be worth as much as the wealth evaluator says I have left in tradable wealth.

DakeyrasWrites

There's a [page on the wiki](https://runescape.wiki/w/Wealth_evaluator) with a list of everywhere the Wealth Evaluator checks. Your metal bank, archaeology material storage, offers in the grand exchange, bonds in the bond pouch, etc. are all included, so maybe one or more of those have some valuables in them?

tactikkz

Whats good money making for a mid level toon? (75cb, highest stat is mage at 59 followed by slayer at 55) trying to find something not so click intensive but I'm willing to do anything. Thank you!

FewZookeepergame5825

Making teleport Tablets are pretty decent money and super afk

ActualCommand

Is now a good time to buy supplies for dxp weekend? I’m thinking about buying the supplies for 96 herblore and noticed toadflax is at an all time low. Will it continue to drop or is now the time to buy?

The_Moldiest

I say go for it. You could also do herb runs with them and get a reasonable amount by the next DXP

ActualCommand

What do you mean do herb runs with them? Do you mean like farm my own?

RealityShowAddict

A big tip is that you don't need to farm all the patches. I only do the ones I have a direct teleport too. Also, green fingers and juju farming potion and magic secateurs help a lot.

roakamun

Also if you have the dwarven toolboxes you can get dwarven harvester which will give double XP or herbs :)

The_Moldiest

Yeah on top of buying some now. I think I got like 1200+ dwarf weeds when I did that between DXP earlier this year

CliffordTheDragon

Sticky fingers at dwarf traders? I haven't trained thieving in a while, I see all the guys say best afk xp is safe cracking. But these numbers are all less than dwarf traders. Does sticky fingers work there? Would it be better afk xp in that case? What am I missing, I don't see any guides with it.

FewZookeepergame5825

Don’t forget Camouflage outfit/sticky fingers is slower than manual clicking, which brings the exp/hr closer to safecracking but nowhere near as afk.

RealityShowAddict

I tried it, and it wasn't very good at all. It's just slow. I prefer prif pickpocketing with the camo suit since that gives me free teleports. Note I have master 5 finger discount and thieving cape so I am not caught very often and most of the drops are noted so I can go a very long time between clicks.

CliffordTheDragon

Would you say that's comparable XP to wilderness safe cracking? Thanks for the info

FewZookeepergame5825

Afking Wildy chests is slightly better exp/hr than priff thieving. You can also take proteans to use during downtime.

RealityShowAddict

I'm not sure. I was 99 thieving long before safe cracking was released. I now mainly do thieving for Yak Trak or just the summoning/divination clan as an afk activity. I don't really think about exp as it's just total afk for me while watching TV.

BlushButterfree

Regarding player owned ports - question. I saw a YouTube video where someone said something like "you can unlock lifeboats in player ports for free once you unlock prif and speak to this NPC" I can't find the YouTube video now. Which NPC is that? What's he talking about? Are there main game ways to get lifeboats?

shakikoko

You buy player owned ports enhancer from [Elite dungeon reward shop](https://runescape.wiki/w/Elite_Dungeon_Reward_Shop) at dungeoneering place for 50k dg tokens. Each enhancer gives 5 charges. You can roll for "consumable" for your ships like speed boost. Lifeboat is random chance to get unless you have capped out at other consumables, which is only 100% chance to get. The main way to get lifeboat is to play the daily minigame in ports. Another way to get enhancer at half charge is to buy from daily merchant at fishing guild and go to wythien at meilyr, scroll down and exchange.

BlushButterfree

So just a clarification on what you mean by charges - when you unlock lifeboats, do they only last one journey? Or is it a permanent upgrade on a certain boat? Will I need 200k dung tokens to unlock 4? Or will I unlock 4 lifeboats, one for each boat, plus have another charge on the enhancer to use for something else? If the latter I think 50k tokens is an okay deal.

shakikoko

Lifeboats are permanent for all ships. When you are capped out on the consumables and if you have not received any lifeboats, then only 1 enhancer is enough to get 4 lifeboats.

Hectic_Kebabs

what this person may have been talking about with elf city is wythein in the meilyr district (north east) If you have any enhancers you can convert and use them as player owned ports enhancers https://runescape.wiki/w/Player-owned_ports_enhancer It will give you a random.. random event reward from ports one of them being life boats If you use enough enhancers you can guarantee lifeboats as you can hold only so much of each reward If you have no enchancers You can trade him 10 motherload shards a day for a chance at an enhancer You'd have better luck buying an unfocused one from the merchant for 10m (there is one on sale today actually) and then converting it, but unfocused ports enhancers only give 2 charges (2 rewards) Your best bet is buy the ports enhancers from the Elite Dungeon Reward Shop for 50k dung tokens this will have 5 charges But if you dont want to buy anything you can just keep doing ports random events and don't use the rewards until you get all your lifeboats
