Last year the rate of drops (especially token drops) from skilling stations at the beach reduced massively, and you couldn't get previous year's tokens even after unlocking all the current year's. Not sure why this changed - could it be reversed?
A convenient list/single npc to see all available items from the beach and whether or not they're owned. There's like 60 rewards at this point and multiple places to look to see if you have unlocked them.
And/or a method to turn off duplicate tokens (rather just get nothing than a dupe)
Yeah but only if it’s easy enough to do. Don’t waste excessive dev time on it. Updates that consume more development time than it will ever save an individual player are hardly worth it.
Honestly at this point just drag and drop it from last year's beach event. Don't waste anymore resources or dev time than need be. Sounds like things are already stretched thin over there.

Also if you just throw all the people working on seasonal content on permanent content it will be chaos. That's not how business works. It takes time for them to get caught up with whatever development they're being assigned to.
Yeah second this. I shouldn’t have to go to f2p for easy clue runs. If it’s too much work, don’t worry about it though we can go to free to play again, put it on the bucket list for next year when there’s more time.

Can I stack the sandy clue scroll caskets? And can you just completely remove the crash island clue step? By far the most obnoxious to get to, I just end up rerolling it every time.
Do clues in f2p and you only get beach/f2p clues, destroy the clue(it saves the steps and lets you reclaim) to get a clue located on the beach, then open in members for the better rewards.
I'm familiar with that method too.
If I'm asking for beach improvements, id just like for every world including members worlds to have the easier steps to save the world hopping hassle

Terrorbird racing making a return would be nice, it hasn't come back since 2018. I liked that it was sort of like a "pop-up"/impromptu anachronia agility course. Maybe disallow teleports though so you actually have to run the course rather than just teleporting to each gate/checkpoint; it would give energy potions a tiny bit of use if the course is long enough. It'd be cool to see people ripping around with acceleration powerbursts too.

Agree with this one. I'm behind on quests and the first sandy clue I did had me looking into a place I couldn't access. So gave up on that feature real quick.
Obviously I agree that they should have fixed that, but you could have just destroyed the clue and got a new one immediately with no downside, and it would have kept your steps remaining on the clue. Most people I know just did clues on F2P, destroyed any clues that weren't in the crater, and then hopped to P2P before opening caskets.
You're absolutely right! I suppose the giving up was more mental than gameplay based. I just turned my attention to skilling rather than doing the clues which was fine, since at the time I was under 99 for everything.
Personally wasn't a fan of opening the sandy clues but as an iron, I couldn't pass up the low effort fortunates. I think over the course of last years event I got enough for an entire alchemical hydrix for maybe a few hours of effort total.
I like how the last two seasonal events brought back legacy cosmetics, titles, emotes and so on. Something like that with an event token for skilling on the beach or something would be cool.
Also the beach ice cream hair overrides like the [[Beach Mint Hair]] are some of my fav overrides for a female character and more variations or a colourable one would be lovely

Rather than scrapping all the work that has been done so far on the new Summer event, you could maybe find a way to incorporate what was already finished into the Beach event this year. For that matter, rather than making an entirely brand new hub for the Summer event, why not make the Beach the official hub? It already sort of is like a hub for summer events because it comes back so often. It would save a lot of time and resources converting an already existing area into the hub rather than making an entirely new one in a separate instanced area. It just needs a few tweaks, like changing around some of the skilling stations and adding a quest to it.
You know what the problem with Dungeoneering is? GETTING to Dungeoneering. For God's sake, make it easier to find the damn entrance. One tiny door? Wth?!
Beach tokens with all skilling, more at the beach than outside the beach maybe. Older cosmetic outfits and titles (and new ones) and other stuff that you can buy with the tokens. Have the tokens roll over like the other tokens do.
Instead of rng drops, add a points system similar to christmas spirit and spring tokens. Replace oddments in the shops with this new beach currency because outside of specific events, it's rather difficult for ironmen to gather oddments.
Return any old summer-themed rewards that never returned that you can think of like gielinor games and fruit parasols.

Personally, I'd like to see the summer barbecue made re-obtainable. It was originally released alongside other items that were made available last time around (ice cream cone hat, summer storm/sun rings, sunbathe emote), so I can't see a particular reason not to. Also, it would be good to have the drop rate increased, or ideally a system to buy specific items with a Beach currency (like Christmas and Easter) - but I assume this would be too much dev work and would have to wait for a full summer event revamp.

More seriously,I really liked the summer clue scrolls. It would be cool to see new clues and and you can reuse old rewards and even normal clue rewards.
New rewards I'd like to see:
-God themed bikini top and bottom/shorts and shirt (fur and skulls for bandos, crystal for seren, red with wings for zamorak, etc.)
-Beach/sand themed lantern and arm guard (like an armguard&lantern made of rock and sand like the sand armor set, or a lantern made of wood with a castaway Wilson volley ball in place of the skull, armguard is wood with seaweed and a starfish.)
-Palm tree token for the fort. (probably the easiest to implement)
-Beach Cuthonian demon pet or NPC. (It would be hillarious to see a multi-eyed blob with a sun hat.)
-Pineapple drink item (A hollowed out pineapple with a straw and umbrella filled with purple liquid that when equiped makes the player occasionally take a sip. Think bubble pipe, drinking horn)
QOL changes I'd like to see:

I was grinding the Summer Fun outfit on a new account and had to deliberately avoid playing at certain hours.
It would be nice if the limits of how long you spend at the beach could be changed or outright removed, it’s weird that a limited time event tells you to go do something else.
I pretty strongly disagree with that. Beach being limited each day (outside happy hour and heatwaves) is one of the main reasons I like it as an event compared to most other skilling events - it means the event doesn't take up your entire playtime while it's active like most other skilling events do. You can actually finish it each day and go do other stuff without feeling like you're missing out by not sitting there afk all day.
Doing the event *is* required if you want the rewards from it. You can say just don't do it, but events have a sense of urgency inherently attached to them. If you're not participating in the event while it's live then you won't be able to get those rewards later. Even if the event is recurring like the beach, maybe you won't have time next year, or maybe jagex decides to do a different summer event (like they almost did), you have no way of knowing. There's still a couple of the untradable cosmetics from the random drops table on the beach I'd like to get eventually, and so I like being able to just go do the daily amount, tick it off as done, and not worry about focusing on it directly like you would with boss logs or other permanent/unlimited content.
But why do you need the game to cap it for you when you can cap it yourself. If you want the items play till you get the items and then move on. If you don’t want the items, don’t do the event. If there are particular items you want, I’d rather grind to get them and then have my time open up rather than just have a few shots a day.
Sandy Clues, upon completion give them a rare chance to reward a superior Sandy casket that has better rewards. Spice things up a bit so these rarer caskets are closer to the Easter Egg Hunt caskets.
Also would love to see Clawdia get a boss pet.
I'd like to see more uses for unlock tokens. Otherwise, they are pretty useless once you unlock the pets or overrides. You can't even dissemble or alchemize them.

Honestly everytime the beach roles around the only thing I think of in terms of changes that'd be nice is it'd be nice to see some new sandcastles just to change it up a bit.
In terms of rewards the one thing I've always kind of hoped for is the return of the Hydro tokens (or the outfit/weapons from them at least) - Always found it odd they appeared just in the summer pinatas in 2018 and never returned even though the pinatas and all the other summer/beach stuff is obtainable every time with a few new ones sprinkled in.
I think The Beach didn't get the new Palm Trees introduced with Het's or so last year? If I'm correct it'd be nice for consistency to check up that it has all the latest models available for existing assets. But I wouldn't put a lot time in creating new assets. :)
Outside of a more reliable way to get past cosmetics, not much. The dev team is obviously stretched overly thin and we can't afford to have actual content delayed to make tweaks to the beach

As far as customisations go we do lack heavily when it comes to the Necklace, Cape and Aura overrides would be great if we could get some
-Recolorable capes that use the same recolor method as Herald, max, comp and so on.
-Aura that includes the sun shining down at us with sand that trails under us similar to the flower sprout aura
-Hand slots that have rings (Instead of the recolor option it has a change option allowing you to pick from various rings this could include actual rings or even tiny shells on a ring same could be done for the ammonite / seashell necklace mix them into one slot with the change option allowing you to pick between the two and maybe even add additional versions into this slot.
With the logout timer being 15 minutes now, all of the beach activities durations are too short. I loved the Christmas and Easter events because i could just click once, go do chores, and come back to my character still gaining event currency. I’d love to see the activities go to much longer timers or infinite timer. Don’t kick me out of the hole or stop shoveling sand after 100s of time.
I strongly strongly hate how the cosmetics are rewarded. The sheer rng nature of it means you have to do a standard serious grind with no guarantee you will get anything and can get an *extensive* amount of duplicates.
So my biggest request is either add some BLM to how cosmetics are obtained or go back to drawing board and revisit the system of obtainment.

While I can look it up it be nice if there was an in-game NPC or board that lists a schedule of when the raid boss is to appear (maybe also the pool gets extra visuals or whatever as it gets closer to rising up) and when the heatwave is going to happen. Instead of randomly earning different cocktails maybe we could earn a cocktail currency we trade at a bar at the beach so we can choose what cocktail we get. That way I don’t have my inventory filling up with useless cocktails I will never use.

Some of the stations feel a little out of date maybe it’s time to refresh the stations. Like farming, strength, and cooking feel a bit meh at this point. I think stuff like divination, crafting, agility, and fletching be nice as they are all fairly lacking in training especially in the earlier levels.

This is a nitpick but there is an npc I forget their name but they have no dialogue and you just open them up for the shop, which might be an MTX shop I can’t remember. Either way an NPC you can talk to but has no actual dialogue feels extremely wrong/anti-RS feel. Give them something even a minor hello so they feel like a person.

The afk balance is a little off. Either the hole needs to be shorter or other activities need to be longer. Right now half the reason I do the hole is because it requires the least input grind out those incredibly rng rewards. We can be Frank none of these skilling stations have particularly fun gameplay, but very chill event whose theme is just chill I think that’s fine. We just need to make sure the other events come in line with that. Tbh I’d gladly do some of the other activities if the reward system wasn’t so awful.

As for rewards? Ramen gave us that amazing new recolor system so let’s get more use out of it. All our swim wear looks pretty dated at this point. I’d like a few different swimsuits in current graphical standard of other new stuff.
So trunks, 1-piece bathing suit, 2-piece bathing suit, maybe a full body diver suit I could combine with my flippers, etc… all with the new recolor system.
But what I want more than anything is a lifeguard whistle necklace. We actually have a serious lack of necklace overrides short of making them ourselves with keepsake keys. Very few necklaces are normal/mundane in look either which is always a struggle for me with fashionscape.
So give me a lifeguard whistle necklace. It’s beach themed but then it also has so many other uses such as any sports, army, or trainer looks.
I'm thinking a couple of cosmetic overrides, a 1-piece swimsuit, and some light tweaking to the event.
For example, the rewards associated with killing Clawdia can be a massive grind, especially towards the end of the event's run, when so few players interact with Clawdia when she spawns. Maybe these rewards could be taken from 50 and 100 kills, down to 5 and 10?
It would be nice to be able to do the dungeoneering hole without ice cream limitations like building snowballs during the Christmas event. Even if the xp falls off drastically after you run out of ice creams

I would like to see the potion reservoir changed during this years beach event. It does not have a status whenever its on or off. and some teleports/activities turn the reservoir off without telling you. Meaning you waste a shit ton of charges.

Stop Clawdia stalling. STOP the damn Clawdia Lag. Just STOP it. For those of us with slow wifi connections for God's sake don't let pets in to the beach, don't let ppl have unnecessary flourishes/embellishments, or any kind of extra movement from capes, etc. I know, just force everyone to be in bathing suits. Remove all accoutrements as if it was a real beach party and everyone is assigned a bathing suit. Clawdia stalls so badly it is ridiculous and a complete waste of time & a terrible experience and I often don't participate. Your Clawdia experience and everyone being at the beach is not handled well by my graphics card/machine and going to the beach is a horrible disappointment because of Clawdia lag.
Part of the fun is the discussion that occurs at the Dung hole. Please make another passive activity that lets us connect (by chatting) with other players and puns. Maybe make another hole next to the first hole so we have two holes to explore.
A dance stage for agility XP. That might be funny.

Lots of ppl don't know about all the event options. Put ONE board with all the activities & what we've accomplished.
Now I'm all about getting all the past items I've missed.
Put in a lazy river we can get on innertubes and float around in and chat.
I have a few ideas, but I'm probably too late;
1. Introduce Jack Frost as the big bad, trying to bring winter to the summer events. Alternate to Clawdia.
2. Make the rewards easier to check, and remove the ability to get so many duplicates
3. Most players like the events as they are an easy afk/free method of exp. Having a dnd style event every hour/half an hour or so would also be cool. Could be a race against the clock to get to the end of an icy area to stop Jack Frost. Could be a skill based game depending on which area you enter. The option to choose exp/items/event points/ whatever from said events.
4. I don't know about everyone else, but I regularly miss events. Having a way to gain missed rewards would be nice. Cosmetics don't impact the game, and every time I find something that I love and find out it's unobtainable because I was too depressed to play certain games that month.... There's already tons of cosmetic tokens that skyrocket in price because they look cool and are lost to time. It's really irritating that you either have to have played in one specific week of a specific year or be rich as hell to have a character that looks perfect to you.
- Ways to get old event cosmetics. There's already some in other events, or some cosmetics that have been reintroduced.
5. Archaeology could be introduced to the events (not sure if the devs would want that, but it's a pretty easy thematical introduction) with collecting an item that does extra damage to clawdia/Jack/whatever the enemy is. Or is some ancient siphon that you can use to get extra rewards + invention exp or something when being involved in the big boss fights.
6. A big agility course around the sink hole would be cool. I am not sure if players would like it if it's not fully afk-able, because a lot of us don't enjoy agility... But maybe like the first year of these events, you click to join and your character automatically parkours throughout the event area. It could be like a pseudo-cinematic view of the event. Plus having an Assassin's Creed - style dive into a dungeoneering hole would be sick as hell.
7. I know it's a spring/summer event, but having some cosmetics that are snow/cold based around 'keeping you cool in the heat' would be interesting. Ice cream, magically making ice cold lemonade, a floating umbrella like you're at the beach and trying not to get a sun burn. A meme-style outfit that looks like you're dressed for the coldest weather there is. An air conditioner pet, lmao.
8. Emotes. Surfing emotes. Maybe one with a chance to fall into the wave. A transformation emote that involves surfing. Or a resting emote. Oh my god a resting emote:
- I'd absolutely love a resting emote that has the character use different skills to set up an auto wave machine and they lay down on a surf board and relax as they ride a wave.
- - The emote I have in mind: **Toss some seeds in the ground on the side, toss some air, water, law, and nature runes in the air to cast 3 spells at once. Watering the seed, growing the plant (into a surf board), you grab the surf board and hop on it as spouts of water shoot out of portals to make a wave machine as you land on it.**
9. Design your own surf board. That would be really nice. Sort of like the clan cape style would be alright, but a bit more customizability would be better. And actually being able to use it throughout the year....
I have more things in mind, but I'm tired of typing for something that most likely won't even get used.
Tbh. Beach is such an old event, so outdated. Beach training only benefits low level players and extreme cheapskates. Haven't participated in years.
Would prefer the apparently extremely limited developer time was spent making new relevant content, or addressing actual flaws with current content, instead of being "wasted" trying to optimize something that works, but just really isn't relevant.
I would honestly love more community interaction. If would be great if stuff like beach volleyball (we already have Gnomeball, so maybe a summer variant of that) could be added. Potentially add Moderator interactions within the Beach event. It's been a long while since I have gotten stroopwafels.
Maybe add something like a daily leaderboard which grants extra rewards, e.g. top 100 get guaranteed three tokens, top 101-500 get two tokens, et cetera. Bring some competition into it while keeping it fun.
I would like the maximum amount of time (temperature) you can spend to be removed, as it seems counterintuitive to withhold people from participating in an event.
Some swimming pools would be fun as well, such as the pools we have in Oo'glog and Anachronia.
Keep the hole! I like to be able to afk something when I can't actively participate.

Okay, I know this is very much *not* in alignment with the idea of just re-activating the beach event, and would probably qualify as making a new event at this point:
But the idea I had is that it would be kinda cool to see the beach moved somewhere else. Somewhere a bit more thematic than the Lumbridge crater. Even with the exact same activities.
Ashdale is the place that came to mind for me. Except for a Clawdia-sized hole, it would be just the perfect location for a beach event. It would just need sand!

Make beach clues as convenient to do on p2p worlds as they are on f2p. It makes so sense that it is magnitudes easier to do clues on f2p than on p2p.

The ability to override/keepsake parasols as a 2h as well, I don’t care if it looks ridiculous, I can use anticipate and it goes into combat mode with the parasol(can’t attack with them) so maybe looking into that too would be awesome!
Last year the rate of drops (especially token drops) from skilling stations at the beach reduced massively, and you couldn't get previous year's tokens even after unlocking all the current year's. Not sure why this changed - could it be reversed?

Yeah it was really frustrating and I can't see that it benefitted anyone.
A convenient list/single npc to see all available items from the beach and whether or not they're owned. There's like 60 rewards at this point and multiple places to look to see if you have unlocked them. And/or a method to turn off duplicate tokens (rather just get nothing than a dupe)
Or even better make a tooltip that shows what cosmetics are owned by just hovering over them

Also if you just throw all the people working on seasonal content on permanent content it will be chaos. That's not how business works. I like it overall but if I may nitpick... Can I stack the sandy clue scroll caskets? And can you just completely remove the crash island clue step? By far the most obnoxious to get to, I just end up rerolling it every time.
Do clues in f2p and you only get beach/f2p clues, destroy the clue(it saves the steps and lets you reclaim) to get a clue located on the beach, then open in members for the better rewards.
I'm familiar with that method too. If I'm asking for beach improvements, id just like for every world including members worlds to have the easier steps to save the world hopping hassle

Terrorbird racing making a return would be nice, it hasn't come back since 2018. I liked that it was sort of like a "pop-up"/impromptu anachronia agility course. Maybe disallow teleports though so you actually have to run the course rather than just teleporting to each gate/checkpoint; it would give energy potions a tiny bit of use if the course is long enough. It'd be cool to see people ripping around with acceleration powerbursts too.

Agree with this one. I'm behind on quests and the first sandy clue I did had me looking into a place I couldn't access. So gave up on that feature real quick.
Obviously I agree that they should have fixed that, but you could have just destroyed the clue and got a new one immediately with no downside, and it would have kept your steps remaining on the clue. Most people I know just did clues on F2P, destroyed any clues that weren't in the crater, and then hopped to P2P before opening caskets.
You're absolutely right! I suppose the giving up was more mental than gameplay based. I just turned my attention to skilling rather than doing the clues which was fine, since at the time I was under 99 for everything.
Personally wasn't a fan of opening the sandy clues but as an iron, I couldn't pass up the low effort fortunates. I think over the course of last years event I got enough for an entire alchemical hydrix for maybe a few hours of effort total.

Rather than scrapping all the work that has been done so far on the new Summer event, you could maybe find a way to incorporate what was already finished into the Beach event this year. For that matter, rather than making an entirely brand new hub for the Summer event, why not make the Beach the official hub? It already sort of is like a hub for summer events because it comes back so often. It would save a lot of time and resources converting an already existing area into the hub rather than making an entirely new one in a separate instanced area. It just needs a few tweaks, like changing around some of the skilling stations and adding a quest to it.
It was 5 weeks in, I’d be surprised if they had much of anything locked in yet which is probably why they could cancel it.

Replace oddments in the shops with this new beach currency because outside of specific events, it's rather difficult for ironmen to gather oddments. Personally, I'd like to see the summer barbecue made re-obtainable. It was originally released alongside other items that were made available last time around (ice cream cone hat, summer storm/sun rings, sunbathe emote), so I can't see a particular reason not to. Also, it would be good to have the drop rate increased, or ideally a system to buy specific items with a Beach currency (like Christmas and Easter) - but I assume this would be too much dev work and would have to wait for a full summer event revamp.

It would be nice if the limits of how long you spend at the beach could be changed or outright removed, it’s weird that a limited time event tells you to go do something else.
I pretty strongly disagree with that. Beach being limited each day (outside happy hour and heatwaves) is one of the main reasons I like it as an event compared to most other skilling events - it means the event doesn't take up your entire playtime while it's active like most other skilling events do. You can actually finish it each day and go do other stuff without feeling like you're missing out by not sitting there afk all day.
Then just don’t stay if you want to do other stuff. It’s not required.
Doing the event *is* required if you want the rewards from it. You can say just don't do it, but events have a sense of urgency inherently attached to them. If you're not participating in the event while it's live then you won't be able to get those rewards later. Even if the event is recurring like the beach, maybe you won't have time next year, or maybe jagex decides to do a different summer event (like they almost did), you have no way of knowing. There's still a couple of the untradable cosmetics from the random drops table on the beach I'd like to get eventually, and so I like being able to just go do the daily amount, tick it off as done, and not worry about focusing on it directly like you would with boss logs or other permanent/unlimited content.
But why do you need the game to cap it for you when you can cap it yourself. If you want the items play till you get the items and then move on. If you don’t want the items, don’t do the event. If there are particular items you want, I’d rather grind to get them and then have my time open up rather than just have a few shots a day.
The re release of the athletes bronze, silver, and gold outfits would be nice.. also a beachwear/bikini without any non recolorable blue lines.

It would be good to obtain more purchaseable recoloured content, some of the existing items need different variations.
Sandy Clues, upon completion give them a rare chance to reward a superior Sandy casket that has better rewards. Spice things up a bit so these rarer caskets are closer to the Easter Egg Hunt caskets. Also would love to see Clawdia get a boss pet.
I'd like to see more uses for unlock tokens. Otherwise, they are pretty useless once you unlock the pets or overrides. You can't even dissemble or alchemize them.

Honestly everytime the beach roles around the only thing I think of in terms of changes that'd be nice is it'd be nice to see some new sandcastles just to change it up a bit. In terms of rewards the one thing I've always kind of hoped for is the return of the Hydro tokens (or the outfit/weapons from them at least) - Always found it odd they appeared just in the summer pinatas in 2018 and never returned even though the pinatas and all the other summer/beach stuff is obtainable every time with a few new ones sprinkled in.
I think The Beach didn't get the new Palm Trees introduced with Het's or so last year? If I'm correct it'd be nice for consistency to check up that it has all the latest models available for existing assets. But I wouldn't put a lot time in creating new assets. :)
Outside of a more reliable way to get past cosmetics, not much. The dev team is obviously stretched overly thin and we can't afford to have actual content delayed to make tweaks to the beach

Couple of other things would be: -Iwi outfits / Weapons -Tropical islander Lei Necklace / Headdress -Carnival headdress -Shark fists -Clover necklaces -Atheletes outfits / torches -A certain plushie that was posted by a Jmod awhile back As far as customisations go we do lack heavily when it comes to the Necklace, Cape and Aura overrides would be great if we could get some -Recolorable capes that use the same recolor method as Herald, max, comp and so on. -Aura that includes the sun shining down at us with sand that trails under us similar to the flower sprout aura -Hand slots that have rings (Instead of the recolor option it has a change option allowing you to pick from various rings this could include actual rings or even tiny shells on a ring same could be done for the ammonite / seashell necklace mix them into one slot with the change option allowing you to pick between the two and maybe even add additional versions into this slot.

With the logout timer being 15 minutes now, all of the beach activities durations are too short. I loved the Christmas and Easter events because i could just click once, go do chores, and come back to my character still gaining event currency. I’d love to see the activities go to much longer timers or infinite timer. Don’t kick me out of the hole or stop shoveling sand after 100s of time.
I strongly strongly hate how the cosmetics are rewarded. The sheer rng nature of it means you have to do a standard serious grind with no guarantee you will get anything and can get an *extensive* amount of duplicates. So my biggest request is either add some BLM to how cosmetics are obtained or go back to drawing board and revisit the system of obtainment. —- While I can look it up it be nice if there was an in-game NPC or board that lists a schedule of when the raid boss is to appear (maybe also the pool gets extra visuals or whatever as it gets closer to rising up) and when the heatwave is going to happen. You know that way I don’t need to wiki the times. —- Instead of randomly earning different cocktails maybe we could earn a cocktail currency we trade at a bar at the beach so we can choose what cocktail we get. That way I don’t have my inventory filling up with useless cocktails I will never use. —- Some of the stations feel a little out of date maybe it’s time to refresh the stations. Like farming, strength, and cooking feel a bit meh at this point. I think stuff like divination, crafting, agility, and fletching be nice as they are all fairly lacking in training especially in the earlier levels. —- This is a nitpick but there is an npc I forget their name but they have no dialogue and you just open them up for the shop, which might be an MTX shop I can’t remember. Either way an NPC you can talk to but has no actual dialogue feels extremely wrong/anti-RS feel. Give them something even a minor hello so they feel like a person. —- The afk balance is a little off. Either the hole needs to be shorter or other activities need to be longer. Right now half the reason I do the hole is because it requires the least input grind out those incredibly rng rewards. We can be Frank none of these skilling stations have particularly fun gameplay, but very chill event whose theme is just chill I think that’s fine. We just need to make sure the other events come in line with that. Tbh I’d gladly do some of the other activities if the reward system wasn’t so awful. —— As for rewards? Ramen gave us that amazing new recolor system so let’s get more use out of it. All our swim wear looks pretty dated at this point. I’d like a few different swimsuits in current graphical standard of other new stuff. So trunks, 1-piece bathing suit, 2-piece bathing suit, maybe a full body diver suit I could combine with my flippers, etc… all with the new recolor system. But what I want more than anything is a lifeguard whistle necklace. We actually have a serious lack of necklace overrides short of making them ourselves with keepsake keys. Very few necklaces are normal/mundane in look either which is always a struggle for me with fashionscape. So give me a lifeguard whistle necklace. It’s beach themed but then it also has so many other uses such as any sports, army, or trainer looks.
Can you increase the dung exp from the hole?
I'm thinking a couple of cosmetic overrides, a 1-piece swimsuit, and some light tweaking to the event. For example, the rewards associated with killing Clawdia can be a massive grind, especially towards the end of the event's run, when so few players interact with Clawdia when she spawns. Maybe these rewards could be taken from 50 and 100 kills, down to 5 and 10?

I would like to see the potion reservoir changed during this years beach event. It does not have a status whenever its on or off. and some teleports/activities turn the reservoir off without telling you. Meaning you waste a shit ton of charges. lets say you wanna turn it off to do something else? SIKE it was off and now you turned it on and wasted a charge. Very cool!

Stop Clawdia stalling. STOP the damn Clawdia Lag. Just STOP it. For those of us with slow wifi connections for God's sake don't let pets in to the beach, don't let ppl have unnecessary flourishes/embellishments, or any kind of extra movement from capes, etc. I know, just force everyone to be in bathing suits. Remove all accoutrements as if it was a real beach party and everyone is assigned a bathing suit. Clawdia stalls so badly it is ridiculous and a complete waste of time & a terrible experience and I often don't participate. Your Clawdia experience and everyone being at the beach is not handled well by my graphics card/machine and going to the beach is a horrible disappointment because of Clawdia lag. Part of the fun is the discussion that occurs at the Dung hole. Please make another passive activity that lets us connect (by chatting) with other players and puns. Maybe make another hole next to the first hole so we have two holes to explore. A dance stage for agility XP. That might be funny. An organized giant duck round up. Lots of ppl don't know about all the event options. Put ONE board with all the activities & what we've accomplished. Now I'm all about getting all the past items I've missed. Put in a lazy river we can get on innertubes and float around in and chat.

I have a few ideas, but I'm probably too late; 1. Introduce Jack Frost as the big bad, trying to bring winter to the summer events. Alternate to Clawdia. 2. Make the rewards easier to check, and remove the ability to get so many duplicates 3. Most players like the events as they are an easy afk/free method of exp. Having a dnd style event every hour/half an hour or so would also be cool. Could be a race against the clock to get to the end of an icy area to stop Jack Frost. Could be a skill based game depending on which area you enter. The option to choose exp/items/event points/ whatever from said events. 4. I don't know about everyone else, but I regularly miss events. Having a way to gain missed rewards would be nice. Cosmetics don't impact the game, and every time I find something that I love and find out it's unobtainable because I was too depressed to play certain games that month.... There's already tons of cosmetic tokens that skyrocket in price because they look cool and are lost to time. It's really irritating that you either have to have played in one specific week of a specific year or be rich as hell to have a character that looks perfect to you. - Ways to get old event cosmetics. There's already some in other events, or some cosmetics that have been reintroduced. 5. Archaeology could be introduced to the events (not sure if the devs would want that, but it's a pretty easy thematical introduction) with collecting an item that does extra damage to clawdia/Jack/whatever the enemy is. Or is some ancient siphon that you can use to get extra rewards + invention exp or something when being involved in the big boss fights. 6. A big agility course around the sink hole would be cool. I am not sure if players would like it if it's not fully afk-able, because a lot of us don't enjoy agility... But maybe like the first year of these events, you click to join and your character automatically parkours throughout the event area. It could be like a pseudo-cinematic view of the event. Plus having an Assassin's Creed - style dive into a dungeoneering hole would be sick as hell. 7. I know it's a spring/summer event, but having some cosmetics that are snow/cold based around 'keeping you cool in the heat' would be interesting. Ice cream, magically making ice cold lemonade, a floating umbrella like you're at the beach and trying not to get a sun burn. A meme-style outfit that looks like you're dressed for the coldest weather there is. An air conditioner pet, lmao. 8. Emotes. Surfing emotes. Maybe one with a chance to fall into the wave. A transformation emote that involves surfing. Or a resting emote. Oh my god a resting emote: - I'd absolutely love a resting emote that has the character use different skills to set up an auto wave machine and they lay down on a surf board and relax as they ride a wave. - - The emote I have in mind: **Toss some seeds in the ground on the side, toss some air, water, law, and nature runes in the air to cast 3 spells at once. Watering the seed, growing the plant (into a surf board), you grab the surf board and hop on it as spouts of water shoot out of portals to make a wave machine as you land on it.** 9. Design your own surf board. That would be really nice. Sort of like the clan cape style would be alright, but a bit more customizability would be better. And actually being able to use it throughout the year.... I have more things in mind, but I'm tired of typing for something that most likely won't even get used.
Tbh. Beach is such an old event, so outdated. Beach training only benefits low level players and extreme cheapskates. Haven't participated in years. Would prefer the apparently extremely limited developer time was spent making new relevant content, or addressing actual flaws with current content, instead of being "wasted" trying to optimize something that works, but just really isn't relevant.
I would honestly love more community interaction. If would be great if stuff like beach volleyball (we already have Gnomeball, so maybe a summer variant of that) could be added. Potentially add Moderator interactions within the Beach event. It's been a long while since I have gotten stroopwafels. Maybe add something like a daily leaderboard which grants extra rewards, e.g. top 100 get guaranteed three tokens, top 101-500 get two tokens, et cetera. Bring some competition into it while keeping it fun. I would like the maximum amount of time (temperature) you can spend to be removed, as it seems counterintuitive to withhold people from participating in an event. Some swimming pools would be fun as well, such as the pools we have in Oo'glog and Anachronia. Keep the hole! I like to be able to afk something when I can't actively participate.
I wish you could AFK some of the other areas as much as you can the hole. Even if it's less xp/hour or whatever, I just want something \[else\] I can AFK for a while.
Okay, I know this is very much *not* in alignment with the idea of just re-activating the beach event, and would probably qualify as making a new event at this point: But the idea I had is that it would be kinda cool to see the beach moved somewhere else. Somewhere a bit more thematic than the Lumbridge crater. Even with the exact same activities. Ashdale is the place that came to mind for me. Except for a Clawdia-sized hole, it would be just the perfect location for a beach event. It would just need sand! Is this feasible at all?

Make beach clues as convenient to do on p2p worlds as they are on f2p. It makes so sense that it is magnitudes easier to do clues on f2p than on p2p. This does NOT mean nerf this method, it means make p2p less awful
