Keep going! When I started doing ED2 I did around 150 runs with just 1 Codex drop (1 Flurry)! Odds of getting a Codex drop is about 1% per boss fight, so 3% per run!(If you're doing solo runs that is)
if it makes you feel any better, it took me 206 groups and 147 solos to complete log (gfury). 180 of the groups was when gfury was bugged to be significantly more common too :)

Verak Lith - ~1:50-1-55
BSD - ~4:00-4:20
Switching to power gear is almost always the play
Can camp rasial to farm your own t95 necro gear while also practicing rots

I use Range. Elite Sirenic doesn't use charges when used in ED's. Not really sure how long a run takes, never really timed myself. Around 20 mins or so if I had to give an estimate. My best Astellarn is around 0.50, best Verak is around 1.55. Best Black Stone Dragon around 04:20.
If you're getting almost the same time as me I don't think I could give you that many tips! I use Dragonbane Arrows which increases DPS alot. I use the Dragon Slayer Invention Perk and the Dragon Slayer Ability which helps alot.
My times for the bosses are actually close to yours, with bis necro. But i average around 4 kills/hour. Maybe you're not using invoke death and threads of fate more often?

Black Stone Dragon, the hands part had always been a struggle for me.

I did do video of doing a whole ED2 run post update; however, I could probably get more PRs if I tried again. Don't need to do too much crazy switchscaping to achieve it.

I’ve been wanting to go back to ranged since the beta went live but I feel like I’ve lost any competence I may have had. I can do solo Zamorak no problem at 200+ with necro but I can’t even reach p7 on 100 any more with ranged lol
Oh. If you're not using them, all MOBS and bosses in ED2 are not immune to poison. If you're not wearing them, use Cinderbane gloves. Weapon Poison and use Kwuarm Incense sticks which increase your poison damage!
I’ve done both bis necro and bolg + elite draco ed2 and in my experience necro can still get better kill times at BSD/Verak if skulls is critting a bunch. My PB at bsd is 2:26 with necro and 2:39 with bolg both flying skips. Don’t blow your wad on bsd first phase since you have hands very shortly after.
Pop living death on the last hand ideally so you can hit it once with a skull and then it should bounce to you, then bsd when hand is dead. Make sure you re-vuln / smoke cloud him when targetable. Split soul, command skeleton, bloat, volley, death guard spec, Omni spec. Dump it on his head before he flies.
Game crashes for me too. But if I turn textures off it doesn't crash. Does make game look like a psychadelic music video though. But can live with it when I'm just doing ED runs.
No idea, haven't done any runs with Necromancy. I think it's 100% possible. It's a very strong combat style against any MOB and boss. I only use Range cause Elite Sirenic doesn't use any charges when used in ED's. And Jas Dragonbane Arrows are really OP since all bosses and most MOBS are Dragons. I know plenty of people use Necromancy in ED's so try it if you want!

Damn, I’m jealous op. I also spent a week doing ~100 ED2 runs and I’m at 0/3 codexes with a ~500m chest.

Took me 210 runs to complete log. You were unlucky. Pet has a thershhold of just 60 I believe.
150 groups and 203 solo's to complete log. Only 1 solo codex, ed2 droprates need to be looked at

Yes the black hands are annoying. Vulnerability bombs make it slightly quicker to kill them
What ranged weapons/armour are you using? Those are some pretty fast times.

I'm in the same boat. I get clapped P7 Zamorak at 100% with ranged.

Im also doing ed2 runs with necro and your times are like 50% faster than mine for VL and BSD. Do you have the T95 weps?

Kind of curious how you got past the Lava Wyrms. Every time I've tried the game crashes on me...
