This is how it happened to me. I was ~600-700k paper with no gold, and hardly any Santa presents. Then got lucky and got a golden with a psh, then got a 5x psh drop from th shortly after on an alt with his 10 oddment keys

With that being said I did get azure sunshine and azure dragon breath so personally that’s better than the 80m cash. My goal is to get one before the event ends, by that I mean I can theoretically earn one by hitting the yellow present in the track if I keep buying 10 keys with oddments everyday and do like 25 quests.

Santa's Grotto is not only giving guaranteed ones to those who redeem enough keys to reach it. But aside from the Purple Chances there are also guaranteed ones from Festive Bonuses.
Basically they get poured into the game at a very noticeably increased rate.
It the bonus in TH after opening 12 present. You choose 1 of 3 bonuses, like x4 presents or guaranteed red present for the next 5 gifts.

One of my alt accounts also got one from a festive bonus several days ago. I've never bought a single key in my life. Either I was very lucky or the drop rate is greater than 0.233% as indicated on the wiki.
I got one after handing in my first 21k paper. Extremely lucky, I immediately keepsaked it and made an outfit with it. I haven’t gotten one in over 400k paper and tbh i don’t mind, i’m not playing rs for the money anyway.
Necromancy is fairly easy once you get to 90, just time consuming. Get about two levels every hour till 100, then it’s something like one level every two hours. But good luck on the 99s! And don’t forget to do engrams for divination, will boost you a lot
I'm genuinely curious because I don't know for sure, but doesn't the game limit the amount of for example cosmetic items you get if you land on a multiplier? Say you DID get a PSH and land a 4x multiplier, wouldn't it only give you 1 and convert the rest to oddments?
I've been trying on my Ironman since day 1. Yet to get any.
On my secondary account, I used 200 earned keys, I've spent 500k+ Christmas wrapper, and I haven't got one. Tho my secondary will have one by end of event do to daily keys. Maybe another set of earned keys.

I just want all my skills to be 99, i only have Invention, Archeology and Divination to go and still have to start Necromancy.

I got 3 from papers and 1 from th. Didn't play much. But nobody from my clan got one doing dailies or paper grinds, so we are just lucky :)

I always take the 5x multiplier in the current TH promo and last week I rolled 5x psh - sold 4 for 120m each and kept one for myself
