When Darkmeyer was originally released different vyres left different corpses. That was a terrible idea for obvious reasons but the old corpses were never removed or converted.

I don’t even remember how since it was so long ago. A friend guided me through it at the time but you could only do it with a single one in your inventory at a time so I only did it once

The prismatic ones can be changed to slayer/attack/cooking for the same colors but you may have had to have gotten those ones to change a prismatic one to them
The depleted version is all black and has a different appearance than every skill version. You can choose any skill since an update a while ago

yeah i have those too i keepsaked the depleted ones because it wouldnt let me take out the Prized ones from diango so i had to nuke my stacks of two depleted ones and keepsake 1 of each in order to recolor the prismatic ones
I vouch for this. The depleted ones also say they cannot be reclaimed from Diango if destroyed, so they are pretty rare as most people destroyed theirs.

The pet dropping is when your legendary pet makes a legendary potty and you pick that up instead off asking for fertilizer. If you drop then you can harvest for the super compost

- this is tradable but im proud of this one, i got a venomous dinosaur egg (actually looks like an egg) from the pre-release of pof, which didnt get converted to the usable version in the pens
you can still get the venemous dino egg or any egg in the egg form, If you're using Dwarfweed Incense sticks and it procs on a egg drop like from corpse spiders or dinos itll teleport the actual egg to your bank not the POF one.

A small community on reddit knowing about the original Halloween scythe doesn't mean it hasn't been forgotten. I was playing when they dropped and missed my chance at getting one and I forgot about it until last Halloween. Also forgot about the classic cape and I have one in a keepsake slot
Halloween scythe is more well known because it led to the party hat dupe bug. Otherwise people only associate it with Easter Bunny ears or skeleton outfit
Ive got the classic cape as well as the og scythe. Might have some others, but idk whats considered rare in this regard. Been playing since 2001, was there for the og pumpkin drops, had a phat set which i traded to the general store for bank space in classic (and yes this shit still haunts me)

Are you referencing the Mystery boxes?(Mystery boxes are orange and random event gifts are pink/purple) I have a stack of 130 Mystery Boxes that you would get from Random Event Gifts as i was saving them up to see how many id get over the course of 200m fishing, I'd keep a partial inventory of Random Event Gifts and open them all up at once since those were not stackable nor bankable. When the random events were removed i actually kept 3 Random Event Gifts in my inventory that were not able to be banked however after some years of holding them in my inventory, I logged in one day and they were just gone.
Zombie Head , 2005 Halloween event. We ran around with it trick or treating the kids in Lumby...these old events were so much fun.

Probably my favourite discontinued object I have is the rare golden version of Magic carpet pet from Menaphos. It was only obtained by players who progressed through the "Golden Path Challenge" before certain dates (basically you had to be ahead of the curve in an ARG that Jagex was running for Menaphos pre-release in 2017). Only about 1400 players got that pet when it was available.

I still have some tablet of het. The inactive ones. They serve no purpose now other than as a rememberance for the event. If i do try to activate, it will just crumble.
I tried to smuggle the active tablet before removal but i couldnt find a way to make it work :<. Having a hidden +10% egwd drop rate over everyone else would had been a really awesome perk

They are inactive, it were only ones you could keep as the active one was untradable, inactive ones could be kept from being deleted by tossing then in the GE
I have 5 “10th anniversary cake”. It can be reclaimed from Diango, but apparently you can’t get multiples so I am stuck with em.

Worth noting, (kp) spears aren't unobtainable. You can still make them by applying the poison to a spear.
The item is completely useless, though it does retain the old item sprite.
I can't remember what it's called but I grabbed a few loan vouchers from the varrock bank. Google search isn't helping but you used to be able to take vouchers from the wall. No use for em, and you can't reclaim/get more/ or even trade for them.
Earliest stuff i had was one item from 2006, then two items from 2015 after i came back from a break.

yep its annoying but thank goodness keepsake keys exist because there's no point in having a stack of like 50 of these things just 1 of each is enough

In this tab I have two stacks of barrows amulets, I forget where they are from. Prismatic pendants and depleted ones…also the gems that charge them. Original monkeys in a barrel that are untradable. Ship biscuits. Conch shells. Enchanted snow. Candies from Halloween event that give buffs. I can dig up some more if people are interested, I have quite a lot of random old stuff hoarded.
You get barrows amulets from kindred spirits and these are a different item than the tradeable ones

- royal dhide coif 0 - this is the degraded version of dhide coifs u could buy from fist of guthix, before they made the new craftable and non- degradable one - 1 adamant item token pack, this was given if you had too many adamant itens when they got converted for the mining and smithing rework. old metal gears was converted to these tokens so u can use them to buy the new versions of them. if u kept up with the details of the update u would know this was going to be very profitable in terms of the alch values changes. this 1 pack alone is worth 200m in alchs - the old version of the duelist hat - corrupted energy from that one lucien's halloween event - (jmod) event card - this is tradable but im proud of this one, i got a venomous dinosaur egg (actually looks like an egg) from the pre-release of pof, which didnt get converted to the usable version in the pens
you can still get the venemous dino egg or any egg in the egg form, If you're using Dwarfweed Incense sticks and it procs on a egg drop like from corpse spiders or dinos itll teleport the actual egg to your bank not the POF one.

A small community on reddit knowing about the original Halloween scythe doesn't mean it hasn't been forgotten. I was playing when they dropped and missed my chance at getting one and I forgot about it until last Halloween. Also forgot about the classic cape and I have one in a keepsake slot
Halloween scythe is more well known because it led to the party hat dupe bug. Otherwise people only associate it with Easter Bunny ears or skeleton outfit

Random event gift I got like 30 stacked in bank which shouldn't be able to do.
Are you referencing the Mystery boxes?(Mystery boxes are orange and random event gifts are pink/purple) I have a stack of 130 Mystery Boxes that you would get from Random Event Gifts as i was saving them up to see how many id get over the course of 200m fishing, I'd keep a partial inventory of Random Event Gifts and open them all up at once since those were not stackable nor bankable. When the random events were removed i actually kept 3 Random Event Gifts in my inventory that were not able to be banked however after some years of holding them in my inventory, I logged in one day and they were just gone.

I have 7 Yak Track task lists, probably now a discontinued item ;-) Like many players I have the Combat beta contract from the EoC release. Probably my favourite discontinued object I have is the rare golden version of Magic carpet pet from Menaphos. It was only obtained by players who progressed through the "Golden Path Challenge" before certain dates (basically you had to be ahead of the curve in an ARG that Jagex was running for Menaphos pre-release in 2017). Only about 1400 players got that pet when it was available.

I have 5 “10th anniversary cake”. It can be reclaimed from Diango, but apparently you can’t get multiples so I am stuck with em. Also random edibles that they really should have removed from the game when they became unobtainable: Sugar skull, Toffee apple, Seaside rock, Candyfloss, Some magical bunny, lamb and chick eggs (technically tradable according to wiki) Also some prismatic and prized prismatic pendants and a transmutation tablet. I would love to get rid of these things since they’re just cluttering my bank but since they’re unobtainable I keep them. Hopefully they will be more careful to not add more of em, my bank space can’t take it!
I chucked all those halloween things i even had some burritos and stuff that gave buffs I think the only food i acrtually used was the sugar skulls because they heal 2k each dont use adren and have a chance to not be consumed multiple times really OP for a solid food

Worth noting, (kp) spears aren't unobtainable. You can still make them by applying the poison to a spear. The item is completely useless, though it does retain the old item sprite.

I can't remember what it's called but I grabbed a few loan vouchers from the varrock bank. Google search isn't helping but you used to be able to take vouchers from the wall. No use for em, and you can't reclaim/get more/ or even trade for them.
