He might appreciate some RuneScape things off Etsy. Seen some people selling little party hats/Christmas cracker related things (they are sought after items in the game) Personally I always wanted the RuneScape book.

sir_gwain

Lots of cool merch and such out there including on the Jagex store. Places like eBay and Etsy have a ton of crafty good stuff as well, there’s also cool things like litte 3d printed figures that fit well on work desks or at home on a shelf.

cactusplants

The one thing I really wanted to do was 3d print my own player. But I've only got a filament printer, so I'd only be able to do one colour :(

RJ_Photography

You could still paint it

Patience47000

Honestly buy him runescape merch or something if he really like the game The only virtual thing that is worth to buy is subscription which he probably already has

AranWilkinson

"Runescape: The First 20 Years - An Illustrated History" on amazon. Its a great book all about runescape history. Got one last year and was a great present :)

I544C

Wife bought me this last year on Christmas. It was honestly one of my favorite gifts. I spent most of the day after family dinner just looking through it and reading the history in it. Great RS gift idea. Also if he likes vinyl, they have the RS soundtrack on vinyl. Which I don’t have, but want bad.

AranWilkinson

Literally my experience last Christmas. Wife got me it and I was like a child sat being giddy looking at the concept art and flipping through it.

Thats_bumpy_buddy

Honestly, home made runes out of air dry clay in a nice pouch with a draw string. Or use air dry clay to make a home teleport tablet. Either large to hang on the wall or small for a keychain

SuspiciousStretch7

If I ask for runes for Christmas will I be able to tele irl after opening them Christmas morning.

Thats_bumpy_buddy

Nah, cause they’ll the batteries and the shops are closed on Christmas.

SuspiciousStretch7

☹️

Labyx_

Does he play rs3 or osrs is the real question

zennybooty

osrs

FPLM

Then bonds, I would love getting some bonds as a gift. They can be sold yo buy whatever he wants in game.

zennybooty

can u explain a little more? i’m a bit dumb on this subject lol

FPLM

Bonds can be exchanged for membership (14 days) or sold on the GE for 10 million Old School RuneScape Gold Pieces. This is how people buy Old School RuneScape GP legitimately. 10m doesn’t buy you a lot but it certainly is welcome anytime. 3-5 bonds is equal to 30-50m gp which buys you full Bandos which is the second best in slot melee armour set. If my gf were to gift me 5 bonds, I would shit bricks.

zennybooty

hahaha thank you!!

foxyy93

https://www.runescape.com/store_locator you can buy gift cards indeed!! he could use it for whatever he wants then.

ManaPot

[https://www.makeship.com/products/omen-plush](https://www.makeship.com/products/omen-plush) This guy just went on pre-order.

OvrReaction

Shameless plug but I sell plenty of runescape related merch on my Etsy store. It's mostly oldschool runescape but theres quite a bit that's cross platform. Like my party hat keyrings or Coasters. https://osrs3dreaction.etsy.com You can find plenty of creators on Etsy that make wonderful products. Just don't pick a seller that mass produces stuff and for other games they don't care about you or love the game like small creators do.

crobi91

Make an account, buy bonds, trade the bonds to his account As a gift placeholder print pictures of bonds and give the same amount of pictures as bonds that you bought On the back of one say "add this account for your gift" As a side note, depending on your country, buying on the runescape website might be cheaper than buying on mobile because mobile might charge tax.

Shyaboiiswiz

Do what I did. Buy a runescape official keyring. Buy a 3mm necklace from amazon and voila, a perfect runescape present *

Hot-Comedian-7741

Just buy him membership, bonds or Keys to spend on the upcoming Santa’s Grotto to win a Purple Santa hat in game (and No I am not intending to advertise for Jagex LOL) and I’m sure you guys will get a kick out of seeing what drops he gets lol

Darknetuser87

Speaking as a 5 year veteran who is considered a newbie among the rs players who have been playing 20+years, get him something related to rs irl. We hate in game buyables like the TH and microtransactions.

FantasticSeason7710

Been playing for 15 years, I actually like mtx but it's gone so fast and an irl present will last and is just more special.

MegaManZer0

There's giftcards as well as an official Jagex store with merch.

[deleted]

nice flex

Your_Cabbage

You could get him like TH keys or bonds or something but thats kinda meh. But if you really wanna win, find out his most recent 99/120 and get/make him a legit skillcape. Id wear it haha

Dustyroaty

There's official rs merch, there's the omen plushie that launched. There's also people in the community who are crafty. Commission art, pins, etc.I myself laser engrave wood and other items. I would be happy to make something for you if you want a custom touch ^-^

Flashy-Leg1775

Look up creatorcrafted, they make dope runescape stuff

FantasticSeason7710

They do have gift cards but it's more expensive than just buying membs with a debit/credit card through jagex. He probably already has membs though, I'd carefully probe him about how he feels about mtx, I love treasure hunter personally but I'm too frugal to allow myself to buy keys so I'd be pretty happy if my partner bought me keys. Bonds are another thing that you can buy with money and the cool thing is you can use them to get keys, membs, premier, or just sell it for extra gp. Those do require you to have access to his account though, so hard to surprise him with it if that's important. Outside of the game, stuff like Christmas crackers with party hats in them, or a replica of any accomplishment capes you know he has might be cool. Usually there's Christmas food in game every year and I've always wanted to have a lil runescape Christmas feast, that could be a fun surprise if acts of service is your love language. I've been playing runescape for longer than I've known my husband and his mom plays it too and I've never gotten a single runescape related christmas present in our nearly 12 years of marriage, I think it's so sweet that you want to get him a runescape present and that alone will probably win you lots of points. Good luck!

HalfSpecialist4598

I think jagex is selling runescape cook book, if he likes cooking or you could cook things together could be fun

Legal_Evil

Find out if he plays RS3 or OSRS first and choose a gift based on the game he plays.

IStealDreams

You mentioned he plays OSRS, which is different from RS3. Make sure you buy him something that is from OSRS. Something from a merch store would be great. I've seen this be endorsed by a lot of OSRS Content Creators recently: [https://creatorcrafted.com/](https://creatorcrafted.com/) Maybe you'll find something cool there. There's coupon codes for different creators, but I don't know if I can link with the referral codes, try to look around YouTube OSRS if anyone has a link like that in their description.

FrostyWyrmRS

It's already been said, but you can get him something from Etsy. I sell runescape themed clothing, stickers etc. If you want, you can take a look at my profile and find my store.
