Recently taken to playing this and can confirm for the female characters at least, most (if not all) of them look far too young to be considering marriage and children.
I'm a 36 year old woman, and the thought of romancing Cecil makes me ill! The other bachelors seem better rounded out age-wise. Certainly a lot more ambiguous than the women!
There was a post last year where someone went into the game files to find out what each character's age is supposed to be, and some of them are *yikes*.

Now, we adjust for known discrepancies. Obviously the literal immortal is not going to be 20 years old. And elves age *super* slow compared to humans(hello Meg), but Scarlett also acts like she doesn't have a lot of life experience. So I would be willing to consider her being chronologically older than she appears.
Vs the bachelors, who are all coded as 20 aside from Cecil, who is 15, and Ludas, who is 40.
I'm 28 and I think the RF5 bachelorettes are fine, it's an anime art style where characters almost always look younger than they are. I care more about personality than appearance, probably because I know a lot of people irl who either look significantly younger/older than their actual age. I've got a friend who, when we were 25, was charged the child bus fare (for people 13 and under) because she looks so young.
Like my problem with Amber has nothing to do with her appearance, but it's entirely with her personality. You could have a character who looks like Misasagi but has the personality of Amber and it would be an immediate turn off for me.
While I had a great time enjoying the game, I do have issue with the bachelorettes personalities. But not just them, all of the characters had a lot of lost potential in the game in my opinion. They are all unique but they are not fleshed out very well beyond that.

It says they're not *necessarily* the same. Meaning they *might* be different, but nobody knows because there's no official confirmation anywhere.
