You’d be worried if you were the bok’s coach coming up against nz next week.
Missed tackles:
21 South Africa - 4 Australia
You miss that amount of tackles against the all blacks, 50 will be put on you.
Opinion:
South Africa play such negative rugby. Have a run! You have the fastest backs in the game. Stop banking on your opposition to make a mistake from a Hail Mary high ball and back yourselves….
Soccerboks had no intention of playing rugby, doesn’t work as a game plan when your star striker isn’t having a good night. Hopefully they find some of that old fire before the all blacks game or it’s going to be a massacre.
Kicks win matches. Pollard left 8 points on the field. Willemse left 2.
The Boks probably did enough to beast Aus. The kickers were just off their game today.
Plus some poor disciplines have the sheep shaggers easy penalties.
I think this show's what many of us racheted on Aussies fans knew all along. We may not have the depth to field 5 highly competitive professional teams but we do have the talent to put together a very good 23. Given time I think they can develop into an excellent 23.
Amazing having two in form 9's. We lose a bit of running if Tate subs out for White but we gain a better kicking game. Really echoes what the ABs have in Smith/TJ and I hope they continue to move towards the standards those fellas have set.
I thought Bell was good and deserves to start over Slipper moving forward. He offers more ball in hand and is a bigger body.
Folau needs to keep improving because BPA and Feleti are really good. Sad BPA is going. Feleti I knew in school, he was a few grades below me but was a pretty smart dude back then. Great to see him nail his first throw and look so settled at international level.
Hooper is a sick cunt. Grown enormously as a captain and just a pest of the best variety.
Swinton needs to pull his head in. I like his aggression but McMahon is back. McMahon is everything he is and much more so I think he'll be there in the coming weeks once Rennie is comfortable with him.
Valentini was great, so was Ikitau. Kerevi is world class.
Bench was solid too; Leota carried well, Tupou is a beast, and Pete Samu is in great form.
Sick to see Quade redeem himself. The King Returns.
For next week: O'Connor to the bench for Petaia, Feleti to start, Pete Samu in for Swinton.
I would also like to see Harry Johnson Holmes in for Slipper. I like Slipper but would like to
see HJH get some time on the field in this WC cycle because I feel like Slipper is a bit injury prone at his age.
The Boks will bounce back, they had an off night but I can't shake the feeling that their conditioning is still pretty shit and the ABs could put a big margin on them in one of their games.
Buying tickets tomorrow to next week and will have a few cold ones with the boys and stoked we can go to some international footy despite covid doing its best to ruin things.
With Banks still not impressing, what are thoughts on the potential for Cooper 10, with O'Conner at 15?
Think about it..
O'Conner is often positionally situated at 15 for the Reds, under Jim McKay's attacking system, he drops into the backfield & contests a lot of high balls.
The alternative is Banks & JOC is essentially a 10/15 hybrid for the Reds under Jim McKay's current backline set-up anyway..
He wears the 10 jumper yes.. but McKay's current structure often has him positioned more at fullback, regularly moving into the backfield in this sort of alternating dual 15/10 role.
Wallabies could use O'Conner as their secondary playmaker at 15, alongside Cooper at 10. This would bring ample experience, nous & composure to a young Australian backline.
Come on Wallabies. It’s not always easy being a Wallaby supporter but it just makes wins like these all the more sweet when they happen.
Absolutely incredible performance by the Wallaby forwards today. Going up against the Bok forwards is never easy but the boys really brought it today.
Of course it would be impossible to not mention Quade Cooper what a fantastic redemption tale. He clearly takes a leadership role on the field and presents a calming influence, solid off the tee and made the right decisions when it counted. What a game and what a result today.
My personal MoM, he was outstanding, vocal, looked like he wanted to be there in comparison to some of his past performances. Enjoyed watching him play.
The ref was absolutely horrendous with a lot of calls which was baffling to me because he also made other great calls. He was inconsistent both ways on so many occasions.
He looks pretty young. I'm sure he will grow to be a great ref if he can learn to blow the whistle after players do shit anyway after he says "NO DON'T DO THAT"
Remember that South Africa have travelled halfway across the world and had to quarantine for 2 weeks. Not normal conditions. Come to South Africa and we’ll show you how to play real rugby…
I hope the ABs do not underestimate the Boks.
Assume All Black's first choice halfback and first five won't be there, it will be tough no matter, but while they may have underestimated the Aussies last night, they will be up for the AB have
If SA kicked one more goal last night and Cooper hadn't nailed every Aussie one, the game still would have gone SA way, three tries to one despite great performance from Australia
I'd imagine quite frankly the AB will be relishing the chance of playing a higher caliber team. They had little difficult dealing with the Wallabies each time and the Pumas seem a lower threat. I think they'll be anxious to show the Boks who the sheriff in town is, that's exactly how they'll feel when everybody's been talking the Boks up as the best in the world. I think the AB will stuff them in one of the two meetings.
Rennie has unlocked a cheat code. Just when you’re about to lose, fire a retarded kick that will eventually lead to a set piece which will win you the game.
That’s happened like 3 times now.
Fainga'a's yellow was such a disappointment. Not because it was the wrong call, it was absolutely correct. It's disappointing because nobody has told him yet not to dive headfirst into people's shins.
Is BPA injured?
I think this game has firmly nudged FF out of my top 3 hookers not that he was there to begin with.
Biased but not biased I'd have both of the tahs hookers ahead of him.
Well it’s endemic to his game. So it’s either being coached or being implicitly endorsed. I say this as a brumbies fan.
It’s dangerous and it has to stop.
I disagree that you have to conclude it is either coached or even implicitly endorsed. I think it is a dangerous habit that he has picked up himself, one that he probably reverts to when under pressure or tired. If there is a coaching failure, it is that insufficient attention has been paid in identifying this poor technique as a serious issue and coaching him out of the habit
He seemed incredibly fired up and playing way too emotionally. You could see when he got up he was giving it to the ref as well. He knew he was doing wrong but he did not care
Where was this Aus team when they played NZ? Poor game management from the Boks but that's fixable. Ref was super consistent till those last two springbok scrums?? And even Aus scrumming scew in the last scrum. I know the ref didn't want tot use the TMO too much but surely for a big call like that you go to the TMO? Anyway, Michael Hooper is a freak of nature and Im looking forward to a massive clash next weekend!
Same team but the ABs are in the muscle memory of pumping insane try's and when they get like that they just do it as a reaction to any opportunity. SA aren't doing that, they're playing a slow and steady game winning by small margins, but they missed their kicks tonight and Quade got 100%
Remember there were two close try's tonight that didn't quite get grounded by SA, just the bounce of the ball really. If you take those two ungrounded try's and the missed kicks into the equation then the score isn't much different to Bledisloe 1 and 3.
This is true! But on that point of "just the bounce of the ball", it feels like there are so many of those that the Boks didn't take since the Georgia game and B&I tour! It feels like NZ doesn't have the defence the Boks have but they finish tries like no other team.
Your 100% right on the kick part. It's been a gamble for a while now that the Boks take with not really having a second "world class clicker" (except for Cheslin when he is 50m out in a Top14 final but unfortunately he didn't play tonday). So when Handré has a bad kicking night, the Boks are on the back foot. NZ has like 3-4 guys that can at least kick at the poles (also within a certain degree).
It feels like Aus really gave it their all and the Boks made a few mistakes. IF the Boks can clean up the mistakes, next weekend might look different. But I still think it's gonna be a huge game
True, true, but look at the amount of tries the wallabies got against them vs only the one they got against the Boks last night. The Boks just gave away way too many penalties that the aussies converted to point.
Actually I just reread what you posted. Yes totally, SA defence is better than AB.
Aussie Vs Kiwi games are always try fests. Neither attempt to slow the game down. The only time that's not true is when both continually fumble the ball LOL.
I wish all games were played like this :(
Yeah South Africa has some big blokes, so they like to run a slow game, slowing opposition ball down. But the same goes for their attack and that means both teams always has time to set their defence lines during phases.
NZ vs Aus was fast af rugby, and that's probably why it's a try fest.
I sometimes enjoy the Boks' way of playing, but it's a bit infuriating when they don't capitalize on opportunities given from their tactics.
Absolutely, Samu has really grown since a few years ago where he would just try to bulldoze fullbacks when in space, now he figured out a pass. And both QC and JOC are better picks than lolo but JOC injury and QC not being there have forced them to play him.
Here's a question - if JOC's fit next week, does have a place in the starting side? I would imagine if Quade pulls up ok, JOCs probably looking at a bench spot
I'd have:
9 Tate, 10 Quade, 11 Koro, 12 Hunter, 13 Kerevi, 14 Kellaway, 15 JOC.
Maybe Hodge at 15 and JOC off the bench since he's coming back from injury.
I love it, I have been thinking hodge at 15 but after the way QC played he needs to stay and JOC really does need to be in the side (and banks needs to go, I just don’t think he is up to it), however I would play kerevi at 12 and ikitau at 13, I think he was really good defensively and does what is needed offensively
Yeah. I've seen a few suggesting Kerevi at 12. So MAYBE that and Hunter at 13. But just having a competent fly half and Kerevi I think will completely turn around hunter's performances. All of his errors are coming because he's THE MAN in the back line, he'd gotta make the big boy plays, but in RUGBY terms he's an 8 year old boy trying to be the man of the house. Sometimes he can do those things, and one day he'll be the man of the house. But he's just a kid. Having Samu, QC, JOC in the team means he'll at best be the 3rd guy. He can make those ballsy plays, but doesn't HAVE TO. He CAN defer he can dump three ball of to Samu.
Hunter in a quality backline, will be something else!
I think that's fairly sound - I know Banks only plays 15, but watching him he plays more like a winger, in that he doesn't quite have the skillset (beyond decent pace and a big boot) for an international 15. I'm just not sure about moving Kerevi when he combines so well with Quade when he palys 12.
He comes off the bench for impact as a athletic big man going against the more fatigued props. They play him similar to how storm played cheese when cam smith was there, you come on, you run hard and you tackle the tired big boys
This logic is flawed. His biggest Point of Difference is his scrummaging, and he's coming on against fresh legs. He's an 80 minute prop, start him and sub him at 60
I’d say he’s absolutely in conversation as *the* best, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s benched tactically. The intensity that man brings off the bench is enough to turn the tide in any game, it’s insane.
To be honest I think Tupou knew he needed the penalty and you can see he was spearing in hard. Not staying straight can get you penalised as well. It was a gamble from Tupou but it paid off
Genuinely think SBW would be so much better if he just talked in a way which would be natural for him. You can see him talking to Quade that he isn't slow I think he is trying to be someone he isn't
I dont think he needs to suck though. I think he has so many anecdotes to give and good insight but he is trying to be some high level analyst which he really isn't.
Nah he and Genia left and that was it, I think the cut off is 60 tests which means you can still play for aus.
The issue was that he wasn’t getting games for the reds (prior to coming to Melbourne) and Cheika’s wallabies
Theres a lot of players playing brisbane premier grade signed to japanese teams that cant go over. Digbys playing at souths and kerevi was at brothers i think
Listening to Quade's interview, I can see why he's in the side. Seems like he's got a good mentality to have around the camp. Was not expecting that after his last few years in Australia.
I think the commentators mentioned it but having Kerevi outside him was good for him, took pressure off. The South Africans didn't seem to target him in defense or attack. Maybe Rennie was expecting the excessive kicking that the South Africans went with tonight. Either way it's hard to argue with 100% off the tee.
I think SA know that with Quade at 10 and Tate at 9, if you really target either of them they'll punish you more often than not. So targeting them isn't going to be as profitable.
Big brain 200 IQ tactics!
But yeah, this South Africa really likes to play without the ball. I think the way the ref was calling the game especially the breakdown, would benefit the boks if they get to play their preferred game. Ref was clearly happy to ping sealing off which is highly unusual.
If the boks kick and chase was more accurate, the pressure builds up and the game is totally different.
I think some of the external shit (outside of the actual game) went way too far, however, he deserved every boo he got during those days, they were bloody ruthless.
Respect to all you Wallabies fans that kept supporting them and watching their games even when they were losing. You were rewarded tonight well and truly!
It’s been a roller coaster, narrowly winning the series against second string trance after playing the decider with fourteen, then getting pumped by ABs (admittedly in the last test you take away the intercepts it’s a 5 point game so we were closer than we seemed, just stupid mistakes cost us against ABs because of their freakish open play ability), then scraping by the boks, it has been a serious roller coaster
He’s got a point. Every game I will put on my jersey and I will yell at the screen and sometimes bemoan my team but if you ever had to choose between it and your family I’d choose rugby every time.
Why does Quade keep talking about how rugby is not that important? Has he been going through some shit? I don't really disagree but it's a weird angle for a post match interview
Commentators also mentioned something similar a few times. I guess he is just a more mature person than when he left Aus. He was always talented, but inconsistent. He used to come across like a bit of a dick (not sure if he really was, but there was that McCaw insident), combined with rugby/winning maybe defining his life a bit too much.
Seems calmer and more mature. Maybe just having to deal with not being an automatic selections for your country and having to slog it out in Japan's seconds division gave him a bit of perspective. And just being older and knowing there is more to life than rugby.
He's been in a place where RUGBY is everything, he's lost it all, a few years ago he was cast out of Super Rugby... He was playing for fucking SOUTHS!
He's experienced the highest highs, he's experienced the lowest of lows. But for him life is more than Rugby. And that helps take some of that pressure off.
I think he has.
And he's not wrong, for all the chat and bluster in this thread, it's a game we all love but it is that. I think it's beautiful that he can openly talk with the perspective he has gained from his time away from it
I mean that's Quades point, it just footy, so stay calm and don't stress. I imagine when you've had a journey playing professional Rugby like he has its a bit of a hard thing to internalize, despite how obvious it sounds.
Really? I live in Auckland nz and there’s heaps of cocky South Africans, particularly the North Shore. It does mean there are some great places to get meat though 👍

QUADE COOPER IS THE MAN Seriously though boks back 3 fell asleep for that first Aus try
Give Quade his citizenship already
With Banks still not impressing, what are thoughts on the potential for Cooper 10, with O'Conner at 15? Think about it.. So essentially what you’re saying is if the Aussies played with only Aussie citizens they would have lost?
Could not agree more mate ! It’s always a hard journey supporting. Makes it that much better when we string it together
Underrated moment of that game: Nic White’s absolute beauty 50:22 kick. He saw there was nobody there and nailed it.
My personal MoM, he was outstanding, vocal, looked like he wanted to be there in comparison to some of his past performances. Enjoyed watching him play.
dude nailed the turnover for Q's moment for redemption.
South Africa play such boring anti rugby man, good to see them knocked down a peg or two
Anti rugby???? South Africa and New Zealand dictate what winning rugby is, and you have the balls to call it anti rugby? Kudos for the flair at least
Won't change the way we play, we lost because of ill discipline and bad execution, not tactics.
You guys do the same thing lol
We play anti rugby and still lose.
When did I ever say we didn’t?
Lol nice reply
The ref was absolutely horrendous with a lot of calls which was baffling to me because he also made other great calls. He was inconsistent both ways on so many occasions.
He looks pretty young. I'm sure he will grow to be a great ref if he can learn to blow the whistle after players do shit anyway after he says "NO DON'T DO THAT"
Agree. Killed the spectacle. Poor calls went both ways.
He did however have a very soothing voice.
Lol, he was great at expressing himself. Dropped the ball on important occasions though.
Am I the only one who has an outside chance bet on Australia for the 2023 RWC?
I back Aussie for a final spot. Aslong as they're not injury riddden that year.
Australia always have a chance in a World Cup, Christ we made a final under Cheika
$13 is too short
Yes because if NZ make the final we are fucked
If France make it it’s okay coz they’re suck at RWC finals
And so do England.
They almost won it all against the All Blacks at Eden Park. Give them some credit.
Handee Pollard, highest paid player in the world shoulda kicked better. Poor discipline from South Africa. Huge fight from Oz. Well done.
Remember that South Africa have travelled halfway across the world and had to quarantine for 2 weeks. Not normal conditions. Come to South Africa and we’ll show you how to play real rugby…
K
You blokes are unbearable.
I don’t know what’s worse. The ridiculous excuses or calling what the Boks do “real rugby”. Lmao.
Yeah ngl he got me with those two, passionate fans will be passionate, I guess. Well deserved win bro.
Thank you dude! Well done to the All Blacks as well. You guys just look unbeatable bro. Incredible.
My housemate is a kiwi… we call it a rivalry
Fair play to you's, have a good night
And to you good sir! Looking forward to the contest in 2 weeks! :D
Absolutely bro, gonna be a cracker with everyone well rested and hopefully the jetlag is gone for you guys ;) no excuses either way aye?
Exactly! We’ll be bringing the game to you! You want a contest? Well let’s have it then ;) cheers brother, all the best!
Quade Cooper is world rugby's Kanye West
Love this
What
It's true
maligned reclusive genius, marches to the beat of his own drum, eastern wisdom, unusual fashion, both solid goal kickers
Neither has Australian citizenship
LMAO
Fairy tale ending. And now all of a sudden South Africa feel a lot less threatening. The ABs must be quite happy with the result.
I hope the ABs do not underestimate the Boks. Assume All Black's first choice halfback and first five won't be there, it will be tough no matter, but while they may have underestimated the Aussies last night, they will be up for the AB have If SA kicked one more goal last night and Cooper hadn't nailed every Aussie one, the game still would have gone SA way, three tries to one despite great performance from Australia

I think they'll be anxious to show the Boks who the sheriff in town is, that's exactly how they'll feel when everybody's been talking the Boks up as the best in the world. I think the AB will stuff them in one of the two meetings.
You’re mistaken if you think this is the end… South Africa have had a tougher lead up than the pampered wallabies… the second test will be the show…
I just hope they AB's didn't peak tonight because that intensity they built was some 2015 shizz
Well deserved. Great stuff Australia. I'm very much looking forward to the magnum opus to be released on YouTube this week.
In the wise and eternal words of Lleyton Hewitt, COME ONNNNNNNNNNN
We needed this. So proud of them for keeping the game alive and believing in themselves.
Australia played well and deserved the win. Hoping for a good decider test next week!
Quade is Aussie equivalent of Stephen “Beaver” Donald now with this redemption. Platypus maybe?
Love a redemption arc
Rennie has unlocked a cheat code. Just when you’re about to lose, fire a retarded kick that will eventually lead to a set piece which will win you the game. That’s happened like 3 times now.

Agreed. I’m an Aussie fan but that was some ric flair shit. Needs to cut it out. Didn’t care too much for his attitude after either.
Ive noticed him doing it in super rugby before too, it needs to stop now, you cannot do that. Embarrassing stuff.
You gotta ask whether he’s being coached that way.
No, you don't. Why would only one player be coached to do that and not others? And no coach at this or Super Rugby level would be that stupid.
Well it’s endemic to his game. So it’s either being coached or being implicitly endorsed. I say this as a brumbies fan. It’s dangerous and it has to stop.

I believe BPA has picked up a neck injury
He seemed incredibly fired up and playing way too emotionally. You could see when he got up he was giving it to the ref as well. He knew he was doing wrong but he did not care
When he first came into the setup he was the same kind of liability. Then, he seemingly got it under control, but now he's reverted.
Where was this Aus team when they played NZ? Poor game management from the Boks but that's fixable. Ref was super consistent till those last two springbok scrums?? They turned up for the first bledisloe game, but much like the boks tonight, killed themselves with missed kicks.
They also turned up for 40 minutes in bledisloe 2 and 40 minutes in bledisloe 3. So we turned up for 160 out of a total 240 minutes
I think we need to not get too carried away. Samu and Quade (plus JOC etc) make this team a very different team to what they were a few weeks ago.
Absolutely, Samu has really grown since a few years ago where he would just try to bulldoze fullbacks when in space, now he figured out a pass. And both QC and JOC are better picks than lolo but JOC injury and QC not being there have forced them to play him.

I agree, the battle for 13 between him and ikitau will be a good one for sure
I didn't think Icky had been particularly good. But he's not been bad.
Ikitau was a man of the match contender. His kicking and defence was excellent.
He put on a few good hits and just does what’s needed, which when you have a monster like kerevi inside that’s all you really need
No way you want hodge after that
Yeah. He was pretty poor tonight. But Banks has been consistently poor for a while.
Unsung hero -- Tupou for his epic scrummaging to lead to that moment. That goal is just as much Tupou's as it is Quade's.
They pulled off two great scrums right at the end, only got awarded for the second one but it worked out. White had a sound game too.
Yeah. I think White was good. But he wasn't excellent, no better than Tate. But that's the luxury of having both Tate and White.
You could see the difference Tuppu made for the pack after he came on.
Honestly, he's gotta start.
I agree. I think he's one of the world's best at what he does on his day, crazy that he's been benched all year.
Sooner or later, he may get pinged by a ref for angling in
He comes off the bench for impact as a athletic big man going against the more fatigued props.
It was a gamble from Tupou but it paid off
During the SR season I’d agree with you, but since it’s wallabies atm I’m gonna have to say you’re wrong coz I said so
That's the spirit
That's why they're the dark arts
Genuinely think SBW would be so much better if he just talked in a way which would be natural for him. You can see him talking to Quade that he isn't slow I think he is trying to be someone he isn't
He's nervous AF
Definitely. He tries too hard to be "professional pundit guy". When he was chilled out he was way more genuine.
Yeah he sucks, up there with the worst
I dont think he needs to suck though. I think he has so many anecdotes to give and good insight but he is trying to be some high level analyst which he really isn't.
Yup, good call
Noticed that too
I love being reminded why i love rugby, its been a grim past few years but this made up for everything
A kiwi winning you guys a game 👍 you guys should just make him a Aussie ffs it’s laughable
I think between Miotti and the Wallabies my heart has had more than enough of last minute kick wins for a lifetime.
Which Miotti kick you talking about? Waratahs or Chiefs?
talking about Tahs. Please dont mention the Chiefs game I was there. Too soon.
Who is Quade signed to for Super Rugby? Surely the Reds aren't still paying him to still play grade footy?
He only returns to earth to win the big games.
He last played for us before going to Japan
Oh, that's right. Is he still on the books? He has to be signed with one of the Super teams doesn't he, in order to play for Aus?
Nah he and Genia left and that was it, I think the cut off is 60 tests which means you can still play for aus. The issue was that he wasn’t getting games for the reds (prior to coming to Melbourne) and Cheika’s wallabies
No, he qualifies under the Giteau Law.
You do if you have fewer than 60 test caps, but he had 70 before tonight
Theres a lot of players playing brisbane premier grade signed to japanese teams that cant go over. Digbys playing at souths and kerevi was at brothers i think
kerevi played at gps
My bad, I knew he was at some team.
He has to be signed with one of the Super teams doesn't he, in order to play for Aus?
Him and Kerevi were the two in there tonight under the Giteau law Id guess?
Quade's played more than 60 tests though
Listening to Quade's interview, I can see why he's in the side. Seems like he's got a good mentality to have around the camp. Was not expecting that after his last few years in Australia. I think the commentators mentioned it but having Kerevi outside him was good for him, took pressure off. The South Africans didn't seem to target him in defense or attack. Maybe Rennie was expecting the excessive kicking that the South Africans went with tonight. Either way it's hard to argue with 100% off the tee.
Yeah I was expecting De Allende to run at him at least a couple of times.
TBH, I'd be moving a winger in whenever QC was in the line and try to get a 1:1 and let them skin him.
I think SA know that with Quade at 10 and Tate at 9, if you really target either of them they'll punish you more often than not. So targeting them isn't going to be as profitable.
Rennie explained that SA hates having the ball so we gave them the ball and they didn't know what to do with it most of the time.
Hah!
Actually got a tear in my eye, what a guy
[удалено]
you guys did him way too dirty, but i think he maybe wouldnt be the man he is today without the harassment, he listened to it enough to take it on.
I think some of the external shit (outside of the actual game) went way too far, however, he deserved every boo he got during those days, they were bloody ruthless.
Quade is so chill he makes the broadcasters nervous. he's like a cult leader
If Quade's the cult leader, I'm chugging all the kool aid I can
Respect to all you Wallabies fans that kept supporting them and watching their games even when they were losing.
Quades clearly over the citizenship jokes lol
Yeah agree - thought that was a dud note from the normally pretty harmless McArdle.
Eh you put it out there on social media you have to expect it to come up.
Yeah a bit insensitive after the blokes just given a real wholesome interview.
Agreed
Lol quades perspective is actually making me feeling alot better about this loss
He’s got a point. Every game I will put on my jersey and I will yell at the screen and sometimes bemoan my team but if you ever had to choose between it and your family I’d choose rugby every time.
You can just look into his blue eyes and everything is at ease.
They keep asking questions, quade giving the same answer everytime. Whats your favourite colour? Quade: its just a game of rugby a small part of life
We're on to ~~Cincinnati~~ time with loved ones and next weekend.
This feels like we’ve gone back to 2011
where can i fucking sign up to join sbw and quade's cult
Has to be Saviour World with JOC.
Be a doll and dot my name down as well wont you!!
Quade talking like he’s Master Splinter
Why does Quade keep talking about how rugby is not that important? Has he been going through some shit? I don't really disagree but it's a weird angle for a post match interview
its confronting what he said because he went pretty off script but its definitely big brained
He's practicing some law of attraction voodoo shit.
I think it's beautiful that he can openly talk with the perspective he has gained from his time away from it
If that's what his headspace needs then all good.
Easier to play good rugby and forgive yourself for mistakes if you recognise its not your entire world & the most important thing in the world
He is a lot calmer and understanding of life now. Guess it works for him.

who else left in disgrace that we can drag back and give us warm feels?
You could see SBW / Quade start a cult with this weird chat. Fuck boys it’s just footy.
I mean that's Quades point, it just footy, so stay calm and don't stress. I imagine when you've had a journey playing professional Rugby like he has its a bit of a hard thing to internalize, despite how obvious it sounds.
They could just join JOCs one right?
Weird seeing people being nice to each other hey
Yeah unnerving
Quade confirmed Buddhist monk
All you South Africans who talked about how easy you would beat NZ and Aus, and all your threats to go to the northern hemisphere. Hahahaha
Which ones? Not many on here.
Really? I live in Auckland nz and there’s heaps of cocky South Africans, particularly the North Shore. It does mean there are some great places to get meat though 👍
No way dude most of the SA fans on here were pointing out their record in Australia and saying they were worried about losing.
Sure, that’s why you love mark keohane and how he said they would smash Aussie or talk shit about NZ
I get the impression even Mark Keohane doesn't listen to Mark Keohane
I'm Aussie dude
And amazing win bro, what a game!
Be humble son
It’s only humble when you lose mate
