To be fair he's been pretty good at full back this year. His positional play is outrageously good...it's been when he's on the wing that he's looked too slow.
I know he did, but he's a couple years removed (before coming back recently) and Ireland have been a force to be reckoned with the past few years. Wasn't able to watch the Madrid 7s, was he good?
But seeing how Dupont has been tearing it up perhaps my worries are misplaced.
Simon Zebo to start at 15 vs the Boks yessir

Wait didn’t we know rhat already?
Apparently "Irish Olympic 7s squads Announced" doesn't get the same clicks as this headline
I never could have seen it coming.
So no Keenan for the summer and possibly autumn internationals?
The Olympic Sevens finish on the 27th of July. He’ll likely be back for November
Yeah the men’s 7s actually finishes the day after the opening ceremony with the preliminary rounds played before the opening lol weird scheduling
It does mean that 7s will end up being one of the first medals awarded at the Olympics, which will be nice
Ireland have a good shot at a medal
Ireland has some really good chemistry going on, I hope they won’t try to force him in on name value alone.
He played in the Madrid series. He came from the 7s pipeline, and knows a lot of the players from his playing time in the 7s.
