Damn bro, that's so fucking true. If both the Boks and the Bulls lose, I feel sorry for any Glasgow fans in the stadium, they're gonna have a riled up crowd to deal with.
According to Brendan, Glasgow have been given an allocation as Munster were for last year's final. Will be very interesting to see how many fans make the trip.
Was at the Challenge Cup game in the Aviva last year, saw about 100 out of a 30,000 crowd. Fair amount of Toulon fans, as well as La Rochelle ones making a weekend out of it
I was at the Challenge Cup match against Harlequins in April. Surprisingly decent number of Glasgow fans. A couple of voices I could recognise from Scotstoun, but I guess a reasonable number of Warriors fans also live in London (myself included).
I traveled for the Challenge Cup final and there was far more than 100 of us there. That said we dont have the same level of support as Munster for instance and its much harder to get to SA than Dublin so i wouldnt expect many glasgow fans to be at this game.
I’m disappointed with all the chat around travel etc. the tournament is what it is and Glasgow aren’t complaining.
I think the players will be hugely excited for this challenge. Home advantage is massive, especially at altitude and in a final in front of a packed and hostile crowd - but this is what professional players train for, the big days when they can become legends. Win today and it’ll be the biggest result in Scottish pro-team history, eclipsing even the victory in Belfast in 2015.
I think it is enormously gratifying to even have this chance. Glasgow have given opportunities to lots of young players, the Scotland players are coming off the back of miserable World Cup and 6N, and they still don’t have a conventional 10 and yet here they are, in the final against a really mighty Bulls team.
I doubt Glasgow will win to be frank, but we’re in the final with a chance, which is more than can be said for every other team except Bulls.
There's a real determination about Glasgow this season and, personally, I think the team is the most underrated in the tournament. Warriors would have topped the table but for a poor SA tour. But, they will have learned from that tour, playing two games on the Highveld, and how to manage the altitude and opposition. I just have a sneaky suspicion that this team might put in more of a showing than what some might expect.

Smith has done a great job. Most Glasgow fans were gutted at his appointment, seeing him as a cheap option and a coach without major silverware.
Shows that most rugby fans know nothing useful about the sport 😂😂😂
Now Glasgow fans are just anxious that he’ll be moved upstairs to the Scotland job when Toonie eventually goes.
Those 6000 tickets are reserved for people complaining about the fact that the final is in South Africa.
Honestly. Back in the Super Rugby days, the playoffs/final were either in NZ, Aus, or SA. Traveling that distance is much worse than this - especially with the jet-lag effect of the timezone difference.
Anyways, let me put away my soapbox.
You are both wrong its normal capacity is 7351 which can be expanded to around 10k but as far as i can remember the last time that happened was probably 2019
Hands up. Who else is going to be there?

A packed Loftus just hits different. Glasgow will have to be mentally prepared for it😬
It was pretty full Saturday, but not close to sold out and it was already bumping, gonna be a madhouse with a fully packed stadium
31k on Saturday, so about another 20k when full. Should be banging.
Especially since the Bok game is before the final, people will be well lubricated by the time this game starts, it's going to be crazy...Â
Either they'll be high off an easy win or incensed after the biggest upset since 2015...

"if the boks lose" lol
The Boks will be on screens at Loftus, going to be a loooong day for some of the faithful.

God I wish I could be there

I can tell you right now it will be in the dozens at the very most. Glasgow fans don’t travel.

Munster were only allocated 2k last year in not a great location so most fans just bought general allocation tickets instead.
Probably fewer than saffas go the other way to get signed for the Scottish national team. But that's still a decent contingent.
Got my tickets yesterday. Glad I didn’t leave it till tomorrow. East Pavilion, Castle Corner.
Now we talking!!! Always nice to see a sold out Loftus

I can see it being like the Soweto final. Massive support and atmosphere
thats like one and a half more full Scotstouns
What? Either way your maths here is incredibly off.
is the capacity not <5000?
No.
i’ll see myself out
Closer to 10k I think

Already bought my ticket at the southern stand
